Holiday Stress

Are you healthy and happy particularly when the holidays are over? Immediately after the New Year's arrival, I had a stomach ache. While I did not consciously overindulge myself in eating, I subconsciously subjected myself to stress, even though I enjoyed the holidays.

I understand the importance of work-life balance. But instead of having a reasonable balance, I wanted to optimize it, filling up my holiday schedule with work, leisure and recreation. While my self-induced stress could motivate me to get more things done, it would negatively impact on my health.

I knew the matters that triggered my holiday stress. I would not waste time to warm myself up with my legal practice from general law to practice and procedure. While I enjoyed my children home and our holidays abroad, I also tried to maintain my creative discipline.

Having slept well once again after the holiday season, I felt strong on the second day of the New Year. Anxiously, I resumed my full exercises physically and intellectually. With all the 2018 best wishes from relatives and friends, I have made them happen particularly after the festive season!
