"Spring Colour"

Who doesn't like to feel the Spring in the air? My wife and I love to see cherry blossoms in Japan and we go every year. From March 29-April 1, 2018, we were quite at the right places at the right time.

It was fortuitous that we managed to find a parking lot at Sewaritei, Kyoto, and Mount Yoshino Nara. What we experienced was beyond our expectations. We doubt if our future encounters would ever surpass our March 2018 trip.

Having returned to Hong Kong, I suddenly got the first eight bars of a melody on April 3. The fuller verses came on April 4 and the chorus on April 5. I have only begun filling in the Cantonese lyrics of the verses on April 6.

Squeezing a little time today, I blew the harmonica and recorded the music. I was anxious to use my happy audio to accompany my cherry blossoms visuals. I believe the best time to see cherry blossoms in Kansai is now!
