FADE IN:
INT. PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL - DAY
Between the open area is a stack of escalators linking G/F and 1/F of the pool zone. Looking refreshed, PETER (in his early 60s) is going downwards from 1/F. He sees a LIFEGUARD in the lifeguard outfit, emerging from the G/F open area about 25 meters away from him.
PETER
(V.O.)
Could it be him?
FLASHBACK (2003)
EXT. CLUB-HOUSE SWIMMING POOL - SUMMER NIGHT
Peter (in his late 40s), a girl (age 7), a boy (age 5) and another girl (age 3), all in swimwear with floats in hands cannot wait to get into the pool. While the kids play happily with the water and among themselves, Peter is never far away from them. At strategic posts are lifeguards who watch them closely from a distance.
FLASHBACK (2010)
EXT. CLUB-HOUSE SWIMMING POOL - SUMMER DAY
Peter (in his 50s) is resting by the poolside. The Lifeguard approaches him.
LIFEGUARD
(curiously)
You used to come with your kids.
Haven't seen them for a long time!
Why don't they come?
PETER
(shrugging his shoulders)
They've grown up...
BACK TO PRESENT
Peter stares at the Lifeguard.
PETER
(V.O.)
Haven't seen him for many years.
He looks the same.
The lifeguard gets Peter's attention, beams his eyes and nods with a smile. Peter promptly nodes and smiles, and signals a thumbs-up at him before disengaging.
PETER
(V.O.)
So happy to see he's working
here full-time!
Via a row of gate-barriers at the open area exits Peter who looks even more refreshing!
FADE OUT.
