FADE IN:

EXT. PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY - DAY

PETER in suit. Eyeing on a phone screen as he walks.

PETER (V.O.)

My elder son is having fun in Japan.

My younger son should be finishing

up with his exams. He's flying back

on Tuesday!

A pause.

PETER (Cont'd) (V.O.)

When I flew to Sydney in Sept, I saw

a film in flight. Ann-Margaret was

still acting. In the early 1960s, my

Dad kept a photo of her!

Remembering something.

PETER (Cont'd) (V.O.)

Oh yes! She co-starred with Elvis

Presley's in a movie.

We see the name "Elvis Presley" in blue on the screen. Peter touches it casually. A Wikipedia page appears.

PETER (Cont'd) (V.O.)

He also sang the song: "I'll Remember

You"! That's one of my favourite

numbers in the 1960s.

PETER

(Hums immediately)

I'll remember you...long after this

...endless summer has gone...

Other passersby can hear him.

PETER (V.O.)

Oh, I've forgotten the exact lyrics,

not the tune though.

We see Peter keying "I'll remember you lyrics". The lyrics appears.

PETER (Cont'd) (V.O.)

(Hums immediately)

I'll be lonely...oh so lonely...living

only...to remember you...

He suddenly stops.

PETER (Cont'd) (V.O.)

Who wrote this song? Since I

became a singer- song writer

myself, I've become very interested

in knowing the heroes behind the

scene. Or singers have no songs

to sing.

Peter searches the web.

PETER (Cont'd) (V.O.)

It's written by Kui Lee in 1964...

Lee? Sounds Chinese to me

Peter touches the name "Kui Lee" in blue. A page with small illustrations appears.

PETER (Cont'd) (V.O.)

Oh! Born in Shanghai. Brought

up by his widowed- father in Hawaii...

Peter looks shocked.

PETER (Cont'd) (V.O.)

Died in 1966?...At the age of

34?...Cancer?...

Associating with something, Peter sighs.

FLASHBACK - MONTAGE

EXT. HONOLULU - DAY

Peter (35) and a pregnant LADY (34) were walking leisurely in the Waikiki area.

EXT. CLUB RESTAURANT - NIGHT

Peter and the lady enjoy Hawaiian cultural performances. We hear background Hawaiian music.

END MONTAGE - RETURN TO PRESENT

INT. TRAIN CAR - DAY

Roomy. Peter continues reading.

PETER (V.O.)

(Nodding)

...Elvis gave a concert in 1973

to raise money for a Kui Lee Cancer Fund...

Putting hand in cheek.

PETER (Cont'd) (V.O.)

1973?...That's the year I began

teaching... in Kam Tin....

INT. STATION - DAY

Peter emerges from the crowd and exits from a gate. Looking moody, he moves his lips to let his feeling flow. We can faintly hear him singing: "...To your arms...someday...I'll return...to stay...Till then...I'll remember you..."

He disappears without a trace.
