This is the first time I begin writing a blog post after 11.00pm. I often have dinner at 10.pm, but for tonight I was particularly late. I had a full day engagement on matters by nature are dispute settlement (DS).
In the early hours of the morning, I was still preparing something for a Pre-Trial Review. I wanted to send them out before appearing in court in the fore noon. Subconsciously, I woke up in time to get that done.
Having played my role in court, I continued to follow up with the Review matter as there was a deadline to meet. The work itself was labour-intensive and to engage the other side was even more time-consuming. Can tech help?
At night, I was still chasing papers in chambers. Then, a friend's casual query led me think about the interface between DS and blockchain technology. These days, the world needs techno-lawyers to design and build DSTech!
