Gathering of families. Peter spots his NEPHEW (30s) holding a smart phone.

Another new phone?

NEPHEW

Yes, iPhone X. Expensive

though.

PETER

My 16 GB 4S still works. I'm

also using a 64 GB iPhone 6

as my younger daughter

didn't want it anymore.

RELATIVES laugh. Somebody says: "Buy a new phone and use it as a camera."

PETER (V.O.)

Not a bad idea!

INT. SLEEPING ROOM - DAY

Peter checks his iPhones and iPads.

PETER (V.O.)

Oh, their storage are

either full or almost

full. I've to manage

storage actively.

INT. MOBILE STORE - DAY

Peter buys a 256 GB iPhone 8+.

PETER (V.O.)

Now, I've lots of storage

space...

Oh, only a few GBs are

left. I'd better manage

storage again.

Peter deletes never-used Apps and offloads some of them.

INT. SLEEPING ROOM - DAY

Waking up, Peter checks the internal storage of his phone.

PETER (V.O.)

Oh, the space that I

squeezed hours ago has

already been eaten up

by the phone's system

storage. I've to move or

delete more contents.

A beat.

Oh, the phone storage

is full again.

Peter takes a look of his iPhone 6 and iPad Mini 3.

They're already full. As I'm

going to film Sakura blossoms,

let me buy the new iPad Mini 5 256 GB model.

The immediate question

that came up to my mind

was what valuable data

had I lost? Before I thought

deep, the problem went

away as I had just mislaid

the phone inside my

baggage. And so the

storage problem remains.

Two days ago, I learnt

from Apple Support that

there might be a software

problem. After backing-up,

I've to reset my iPhone.

But a new problem has

surfaced. The local

disk of my computer

doesn't have enough

space to back up. I've

to manage the internal

storage of my computer

as well!

Although my external

drives have lots of space,

I believe it's beyond my

technical capacity to

resolved that, having

tried to learn from the

web community.

Peter looks frustrated.

What exactly is my problem?

I've got reasonable backups

of my Voice Memos and

Notes in iCloud, photos

in Google Photos and look-

a-like photos and videos

in my cameras' sim cards.

I'm already a real-world

hoarder. If I don't make

myself a digital hoarder

too, my antecedent

problems to reset my

iPhone will go away!

Yes, I'm ready to reset

it!

Peter finds the Apple Technical Support phone number and calls.
