Table clock displays 10.45pm, PETER and his WIFE are dinning.
WIFE
You know I've done the
check-in for you.
Peter's nodding, eyes on his phone screen.
PETER
We're leaving within 48
hours?
WIFE
Yes! Saturday morning.
Shouldn't have any
problem for our departure.
Peter nods, eyes still on his phone screen.
PETER

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Let me answer one more
Quora question before

Peter grabs his phone and finds a Quora question.
INT. SWIMMING POOL - DAY
Peter swims inattentively.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
I think I've nothing much
to add to my draft answer.
Getting out from the pool, Peter goes to a beach chair to grab his phone and tap.
A beat.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Well, the international
viewers can't wait to
read my answer.
We see part of his answer:
Majority reality
R1. Common concern. Hong Kong has a population of 7.4 million. A majority of them can tell about the reality. Accepting the status quo, they struggle to adapt and uplift, making the most of any situations.
R2. Common strategy. Riding on Hong Kong's well-tested institutions and with their can-do spirit, they learn and work hard to capture, create and deliver value in both the private and public sectors.
R3. Common value. The rule of law is a major Hong Kong institution, not just to maintain peace and order, but to keep and grow domestic and international trust in transactions in or via Hong Kong.
R4. Common attitude. Knowing Hong Kong's success has been based on existing institutions, a majority of Hongkongers seize every opportunity to make the most of it, contributing to Hong Kong's prosperity.
R5. Common discretion. The silent majority (including the protesters' peers) keep their sentiment in check in public for fear of recriminations by the irrational and violence-prone protesters' group bullying.
R6. Common goal. The majority believe that by sustaining Hong Kong as a value centre in Asia and in the world, Hong Kong's freedom and democracy (ranking third now) can be maintained without a fight.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
I'm really grateful for the
quick upvotes. There's
actually no need to put
up an unnecessary fight.
Peter takes another look of his insert to the Quora answer. We see its subtitle as: Group in Black.
PETER(V.O.) (Cont'd)
Oh yes, today is Black
Friday...
Peter sighs.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
I first married today 40
years ago... Yes, the
moon for you and me,
lives on...
FADE OUT.
THE END
