FADE IN.

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

KAJI sees the PACK LEADER with a laptop and PETER sitting side by side on the sofa.

KAJI (V.O.)

Can I join you both?

Peter moves to one side a bit, allowing some space for Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)

The space is limited.

But I can manage.

Swiftly, Kaji jumps up onto the space, makes a turn and sits tightly with them.

KAJI (V.O.)

(Looking at the pack leader)

Her focus is either

on her laptop or TV.

Pausing,

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

(Turning to Peter)

Peter's watching TV

too...

As she rests her head on his lap, Peter touches Kaji's fur gently.

KAJI(V.O.) (Cont'd)

That's how he comforts

me to have a nap.

A beat.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

But Peter has his

eyes either on the TV

or his phone screen,

rather than on me.

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Let me try a position

that I've never done

before.

Carefully, Kaji moves onto Peter, sitting herself wholly on Peter's lap with the support of her four limps.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Yes! I can maintain

my balance. I'm

Peter's laptop now!

As Kaji is between him and the TV set, Peter gives Kaji all the attention. Noticing Kaji's new sitting position, the pack leader looks at Kaji and Peter jealously.

Why won't do

that to me?

Weren't you building

your empire with your

laptop or emerging

yourself in the TV?

You do what you

love...

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

I love what I do. As

Peter's laptop, we're

having a world of

our own!

Kaji looks very proud.
