PETER: Oh dear...
EXT. ROADS - LATER

INT. STUDY - LATER
PETER (V.O.): Let me answer a few Quora questions to divert my attention.
Phone in hand, Peter reads notifications.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): One answer request is about whether I'll be remembered when I'm gone.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As for me, I remember those who have made an impact on me.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I therefore infer that those whom I've made an impact on would remember me when I'm gone.
After typing on his phone, Peter reads another answer request.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Does life stories repeat throughout history?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Structurally, they do.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're born, we grow, we mature, we procreate, we decline and we die.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But humans live on.
After typing on his phone, Peter reads a WhatsApp message.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, my Mom-in-law has begun her long sleep. At 10.06am?
Peter looks anxious.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Did my wife manage to see her Mom in time?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When did she arrive at the hospital? She was the dearest to my Mom-in-law.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I was so disturbed by moments like this. I've lost the sense of time.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We set off sometime after breakfast...
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):Have I had any time records of anything? I didn't send any messages.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh yes, I took a photo of the registration number of the car.
Quickly, Peter taps on a phone image.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It was taken at 9.55am. I had already taken my wife to the hospital about 10 minutes ago.
Peter looks pleased.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, she should be in time.
INT. DINING ROOM - NIGHT
Peter and his wife are talking over dinner.
