PETER (V.O.) : That was in 2003 when Hong Kong was still suffering from SARS. At that time, I wasn't sure if there would be a 2004 for me and my family.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Years later, a newspaper revealed on April 1 that my office didn't protect personal data seriously. I did a lot of work to salvage the operation. Few heard about it.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If one can wake up, April 1 is just another day.
Peter sleeps.
Act 2

The talk ends uneventfully.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I always feel good after each public speaking, but not this time. Strange.
B. INT. SOMEWHERE - DAY
It appears that Peter is reading and hearing something.
PETER: These three notes are the best music ever?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.): They're just So -Ti - Do.
VOICE (O.S.): It's your song!
PETER (V.O.): Is that right?

PETER (V.O.): Let me check up the notes before I forget. I have had two nice songs that were inspired by my dreams.
INT. MINI-STUDIO - DAY
Guitar in hand, Peter is tracing some notes.
PETER (V.O.): Nothing special. Can I use these three notes in creative ways to write a song.
Peter strums and does some finger-picking as his phone's Voice Memo App is recording.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The most I can get are just music for a few verses. It's true that I want to compose more good songs.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): How about my first dream on public speaking? I've a full-day law lecture to deliver and I haven't started preparing my written and speaking material yet.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): So during dreaming, my brain supports and records my waking life, and prepares me for future challenges...
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm not making a fool of myself even during my non-waking consciousness.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): How interesting it is to be able to dream?
FLASHBACK
INT. STUDY - DAY
The TV is on. Peter is working on his computer. We see and hear a young GIRL speaking on screen: They can kill my body. But they can't kill my dream.
PETER (V.O.): That's rhetoric. If there's no life, there's no dream. If the dream means a person's mission, the non-existence of the one championing that would at least cause some setbacks.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Life can't be non-primal.
END FLASHBACK
Act 3

PETER: She even knows what you and I like to drink.
PETER (V.O.) : And this isn't a dream.
The TV news anchor reports that some banks won't pay dividends in 2020.
PETER: Investors invest in them because they always pay dividends. Can it be an April fools prank?
WIFE (Angrily): How can it be a joke? It's from the news channel.
PETER: Have you invested a lot?
WIFE: Yes. I bought a lot weeks ago and now the share price is 20% lower.
PETER: Oh my god!
Other stories about investors' responses.
WIFE (Smiling): You see. There're many other investors who bought them in the bull market and they suffer 40% loss due to COVID-19.
PETER (V.O.): I recall two sayings: Great minds think alike, and fools are all the same!
Peter then practises a few Tango footwork by himself.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): April is a new month for me to Push and Rejuvenate myself; and it'd be even better if I can Inspire others and make them Laugh a lot!
