Seeing a WhatsApp message appearing in his smartphone, PETER responds without delay.
MONTAGE OF PETER'S SUBSEQUENT ACTIVITIES
A. Duty Lawyer Service. As he leaves, PETER checks the time.
B. Car repairer. Having deposited his red coupe, Peter checks the time.
C. Underground car park. Driving up a Previa, Peter checks the time.

EXT. ROADS TO AIRPORT - 13:00
Peter is driving past the Tsing Ma Bridge.
PETER (V.O.): My elder daughter's flight from Seoul should be landing by now.
Act 2
INT. HONG KONG AIRPORT - 13:30
Bustling arrival hall. Waiting and anticipating, Peter checks a WhatsApp message.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, she's got her baggage. I should be seeing her shortly.
Anticipating.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The last time we met in person was six months ago.
As Peter and his DAUGHTER see each other, they lock eyes.
PETER (V.O.): Her homecoming is significant to my family!
We see their expression lighting up with joy.
PETER: Welcome back!
Peter takes a good look of his daughter.
PETER (Cont'd): You look fit!
DAUGHTER: Yes.
Taking over his daughter's baggage enthusiastically, Peter leads her walking towards a car park.
PETER: You've just done your exams, right?
DAUGHTER: Finished only yesterday.
PETER: And you're now back in Hong Kong...
DAUGHTER: I'd have waited for a few days before flying back.
PETER: Why?
DAUGHTER: As I was focusing on the exams, it was only yesterday night I packed.
PETER: So what...
DAUGHTER: I could only tell my friends when would I see them. Nothing was planned.
PETER (V.O.): My daughter plans before she acts.

A. HKCU, 2018. His daughter graduates.
B. His daughter then works at Ocean Park.
C. Fukuoka 2020. His daughter studies Japanese.
D. Tokyo. His daughter works in Japannext PTS.
E. Seoul. 2022, His daughter studies in SNU.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We can't wait to see you back.
DAUGHTER (Cont'd): I can only have dinner with the family tonight and the night before my return to Seoul.
PETER: Having got your driving licence in Japan, you've driven in Okinawa...
Peter's daughter shows her International Driving Licence issued by the Japanese authority.
DAUGHTER: I haven't used it yet.
Arriving at the Previa, Peter uploads the baggage.
PETER: How about driving my car now?
DAUGHTER: I dare not. Hong Kong traffic conditions are very challenging. And your Previa is big.
Act 3
INT. STUDIO - 17:30
Having input the prompt: "A beautiful girl driving a big car" in an AI art generator, Peter sees a cubist image appearing.
PETER (V.O.): I do nothing unusual. I just do what a protective father would do.
MONTAGE
A. Estate road. Peter's daughter takes the driver seat of the Previa confidently.
B. We see Peter's daughter driving past a garden and several residential blocks.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I endeavour to provide a safe place for her to land and a hard place from which to launch.
