Act 1
INT. BEDROOM - 10:30
Lying in bed, PETER and his WIFE chat.
WIFE: We lost a lot of money yesterday. The stock market tumbled.
PETER: Yes.
WIFE: I didn't have time to mitigate my loss.
PETER: I've little idle money left to buy low.
Pausing.
PETER (Cont'd)): The prices will bounce back.
WIFE: But don't know when. There's a a new Omicron COVID variant.
PETER: Yes, it's detected here as well. There're just too many things beyond our control.
Act 2
INT. SITTING ROOM - 12:25
Peter checks a message: Boarded, waiting to take off.
PETER (V.O.): Great to know. Our younger son is flying home!
FLASHBACK
INT. DINING ROOM - NIGHT (Last Sunday)
Peter and his wife are talking to their CHILDREN on screen.
WIFE (To Son on screen): Things didn't go as planned. You meant to fly back yesterday.
(SON on screen): Having waited for weeks, there's still no news from the Australian authorities.
WIFE (To Son on screen): When will be the next opportunity to come home?
(SON on screen): November 2022.
END FLASHBACK
PETER (V.O.): Then there was news on Monday morning this week. Our son's air ticket and quarantine hotel were fixed within hours.
WIFE: Our son is flying back!
Happiness looks beautiful in them. Peter taps the Quora icon on his smartphone screen.
PETER (V.O.): I haven't entertained my fans for a fortnight. I don't want them to be disappointed,
As he checks the answer requests, Peter types and inserts a feature photo.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): That's my style, as a picture is worth 1000 words.
Peter notes a swift response: May we read your screenplays.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): No problem. I share my life values readily. One of my ways to leave my intellectual legacy

EXT. PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL - PARK - 16:00
Seeing long queues at the entrance, Peter looks frustrated.
PETER (V.O.): Why didn't I expect that? Where was I last Saturday afternoon?
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I was busy drafting a submission in English and a decision in Chinese. I didn't come here.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): While the submission was spent last Thursday in a hearing, there's still a hiccup regarding the decision.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): While I work on Saturdays/Sundays. it appears the secretariat prefer to have a nice weekend.
Turning around, Peter begins to jog.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Jogging is my alternative physical exercise.
INT. STUDY - 17:00
Peter checks a message.
PETER (V.O): Our elder daughter was surprised to hear that her brother is suddenly flying home.
Peter types on his smartphone: Hope the same can happen to you before long.
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - 23:30
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.): Just then, we hosted a farewell party for a couple who are leaving Hong Kong.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When things seem falling apart, they may actually be falling into place.
Peter sees a message: I'm still waiting for the swab result at the airport.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): So be patient to enjoy the confusion, as good news may come anytime.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Eventually, things fall into place.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.): Including stock prices.
