Act 1
INT. STUDY - MORNING
PETER is packing his swimming gear.
PETER (V.O.): Having done professional work yesterday, I'm rewarding myself in going back to my NT home.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): On my way, I'll go to Gold Coast to swim. And then I'll have lunch in the estate mall.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And then I'll continue renovating my NT home.
Peter's leaving home.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel excited in going home.
Act 2
EXT. GOLD COAST - NOON
Having swum back to shore in butterfly style, Peter checks his head.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, I've lost my red swimming cap.
Peter checks the beach water.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Not a trace of my red swimming cap.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I wear a red swimming cap and even a red swim brief for safety reasons.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):In case I need help, I believe it should be easier for lifeguards to find me.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now, I realize that it's so difficult to find anything in the beach water...
Giving up, Peter leaves.
EXT/INT. MALL - AFTERNOON.
Coming out from a restaurant, Peter goes shopping in a supermarket.
PETER (V.O.): I want to buy more ice lollies and ice creams, as the weather is getting hot.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I also want to make good use of the fridge. It was basically empty for a decade.
Peter selects his favourites from a big fridge.
INT. PETER'S NT HOME
Putting his purchase inside the freezer, Peter chooses an ice-lolly from an existing package. He quickly unwraps and licks it.
PETER (V.O.): Okay. The ice-lolly is frozen. The fridge is in working order.
Sitting in a sofa and listening to oldies from a bluetooth speaker, Peter enjoys his ice lolly.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Having it here makes me feel home.
Finishing, Peter keeps the ice-lolly stick.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'll use it to help apply the white adhesive to the peeling-off wallpapers.
Going inside the master bedroom, Peter begins working.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've been doing this at my own pace. I'm not young and am home alone.
Working.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I reckon that it would take me 4-5 days' work to complete a reasonable renovation of a room.
Resting.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): The problems have been there for many years. It's good that I'm tackling them.
EXT. ESTATE ROADS - LATER
Driving past a junction, Peter sees sunset.
PETER (V.O.): Is now the best part of the day?
Peter stops the car to take a photo.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Endings can be beautiful.
Act 3
INT. DINING ROOM - NIGHT
Food on the table. Peter samples all the dishes.
'PETER (V.O.): My wife loves to cook. Every dish is delicious. If we run a restaurant, customers may queue up.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To feel more at home, I think I've to stay home more. But I've two homes.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I always stay comfortably overnight in one. And I sometimes stay working during the day in another.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): More importantly, I feel happy, whether leaving or going home.
FADE OUT.
