Act 1
INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY
Waiting in her carrier cot, KAJI takes a look at PETER.
KAJI (V.O.): Are you going out with me?
PETER: Gai,gai!
As Peter leaves home, the PACK LEADER puts two flying discs and a tennis ball inside a bag.
KAJI (V.O.): Staying indoors, I don't bother to move. When I'm going out, I couldn't wait.
EXT. ROADSIDE - DAY
Getting out of a car, Peter helps the packleader get Kaji inside it. Kaji takes the driver seat.
KAJI (V.O.): I like to to take control. But Peter uses his limbs rather than his mouth to drive.
PACK LEADER: Come back to the passenger seat!
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Okay, Let's move. Once outdoors, I don't care where are we going.
Act 2
EXT. ROADS - DAY
Sitting on the lap of the pack leader, Kaji sticks her neck out of the passenger window to sniff he air.
KAJI (V.O.): The airflow around the moving car is really stimulating. I love it. It's so refreshing.
Peter parks the car at the entrance of a pet garden.
EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY
Smiling, KAJI watches her FRIENDS trying to catch a tennis ball.
When the pack leader throws a green tennis ball near Kaji, her action doesn't catch Kaji's attention.
KAJI (V.O.): I know that's my tennis ball. But the one being played by my friends is greener.
The pack leader picks up the tennis ball herself.
Then, the pack leader throws a blue flying disc and Kaji sees that.
FLASHBACK
INT. CORRIDOR - NIGHT
Kaji plays the blue flying disc with a GANG MEMBER and a MAID. When they throw the disc in turn, Kaji would catch it.
END FLASHBACK
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, that's mine too. I don't want to catch it now, there're so many varieties here.
Having picked up the blue disc herself, the pack leader throws a yellow one in the air.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What's that?
Kaji checks it out casually.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, it's a new one. But my friends aren't interested in it. It can't be good.
Kaji runs away from the pack leader and Peter to join her friends and their CARERS.
PACK LEADER: She's really an outgoing girl.
PETER: Yes, no matter how attached she is to us when at home.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): They seem talking about me... Never mind, I'm having fun.
Later, the pack leader grabs Kaji and they leave.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the "gai gai" is over. I don't even have a chance to say goodbye to my friends.
Act 3
EXT. ROADSIDE - NIGHT
After parking the car at a lot, they go inside a shopping mall.
INT. MALL - NIGHT
Shops. Few souls.
KAJI (V.O.): Wow, what's this place? I've never been here. So bright and so quiet.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It smells no good. I don't think there's anything good for me here. I had better remain in my carrier cot.
EXT. ROAD SIDE - NIGHT
Kaji is leading the pack leader and Peter, walking past their car.
PACK LEADER: Oh dear, her smelling isn't good.
PETER: Ha! We got off here about an hour ago and she couldn't recollect.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Have I missed anything?
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): If yes, it means I couldn't care less. The road here is far better than the mall inside. I'm an outgoing girl.
INT. SITTING ROOM - NIGHT
Peter comes in.
PACK LEADER: Kaji was smart.
KAJI (V.O.): Yes, I'm listening.
PETER: How?
PACK LEADER: She has vomited a little after coming home.
PETER: Is that right?
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I often feel a little sick after coming home.
PACK LEADER (Smiling): But she did that in our maid's room!
KAJI (V.O.): Oh dear...
FADE OUT.
