Act 1
INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY
Waking up on a sofa, KAJI sees the PACK LEADER approaching.
PACK LEADER: It's Kai-Kai time again!
KAJI becomes alert.
KAJI (V.O.): Oh, I don't need to sleep away my time? Good, no one want to be lonely.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Whenever they leave home without me, I feel bad.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): My maid, Peter, the pack leader and recently a gang member would come back.
The pack leader helps Kaji wear the harness.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Do we walk or drive there?
ACT 2
EXT. ROAD - DAY
Kaji sits on the lap of the pack leader as PETER drives.
PETER: Should I open the window for our baby?
PACK LEADER: No, our children don't approve it.
KAJI (V.O.): Oh, I haven't seen two gang members for a long while. I remember they left home with big suitcases.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): When the pack leader doesn't talk about them, I don't expect to see them...Suddenly, my feeling has become mixed.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.): Are they lonely if they're alone somewhere?
KAJI looks out of the car window.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd) : We're arriving.
EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY
Kaji leads the pack leader and Peter inside.
KAJI (V.O.): So quiet. No one's here. The whole garden's mine.
Scratching the grass with her legs, Kaji chooses her favourite spots to obey the calls of nature.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What a relief. I feel so good. What's next?
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've forgotten I'm here all alone...
Seeing the pack leader and Peter sitting on a bench, Kaji jumps up to sit next to them.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, I need companionship.
Both pack leader and Peter stare at Kaji.
PETER: She looks bored.
PACK LEADER: It's quite a surprise that her friends aren't here.
PETER: is it because of the pandemic?
Act 3
We hear some sounds at the entry gates.
KAJI (V.O.): Ah, someone is coming...
Jumping down the bench, Kaji runs to the entrance. We see a black-and-white SHEPHERD and his CARERS appearing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He's big. But we might have something in common.
Kaji plays host.
KAJI: Are you lonely?
Sniffing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): No worry. Just come and play with me.
They begin chasing each other.
FADE OUT.
