Act 1
INT. HOME - DAY
KAJI waits at the door.
KAJI (V.O.): I used to smile a lot.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But Peter has disappeared for many days.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He didn't leave with any bags.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I thought he'd return soon. But I was wrong.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've a hunch he's around though.
Act 2
MONTAGE OF KAJI'S GUT FEELINGS
A. Meal time. Kaji sees a GANG MEMBER bringing a bag of food out.
B. Soon, Kaji hears door bell ringing in a nearby flat.
C. After that, Kaji sees the Gang Member returning.
D. And Kaji hears the PACK LEADER making a call.
E. Then, they eat, without Peter, as if nothing has happened.
F. Later, Kaji sees a Gang Member going out to bring a bag home.
END MONTAGE
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): About food, Peter always gives me lots of it, if he can.
MONTAGE OF KAJI'S FOOD SHARING EXPERIENCE
A. Dining room. Sitting together in one chair, PETER and Kaji are sharing bread.
B. Coming out from the bedroom, the Pack Leader grabs Kaji away from Peter.
C. With her face still facing Peter, Kaji gets a last slice of bread from Peter.
D. Soon, Kaji is being locked up inside the bathroom with the Pack Leader.
E. When Kaji is set free, Peter has either finished the food or has left.
END MONTAGE
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Peter always shelters me from harm if he can.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): In bed, Peter always keeps me warm.
Kaji checks herself.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm free.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can move around, like a bird flying by me.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, Peter must have been locked up!
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Inside another flat on the same floor.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've been there a few times.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): There isn't any facility for me.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Peter uses the planks of wood there to make all sorts of sounds.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But why doesn't he shout "Help"?
Act 3
INT. HOME - CONTINUOUS
Kaji continues to wait.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Nothing makes me smile more than looking into the face of someone who loves me.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't take Peter for granted. I can give everything I own - my fur, my heart - just to have him back again soon.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's not about what I've but who I've that matters.
DAYDREAMING SEQUENCE
A. Peter appears at the door.
