FADE IN.
INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY
KAJI focuses on PETER as he comes out via the corridor.
KAJI (V.O.): The maid isn't here. Is today a good day or a bad day for me? See what would you do next?
Kaji sees Peter doing some push-ups on the floor before going to his study.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, he hasn't got anything for me. It's nearly noon and I've had nothing.
Worrying.
KAJI(V.O.) (Cont'd). I'm so very hungry. Yesterday, it was a good day. Couldn't I've good days every day?
Act 2
FLASHBACK
EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY (YESTERDAY)
Kaji's ignores her friends which all want to play with her.
KAJI (V.O.): They're just kids. I'm a mature lady.
END FLASHBACK
Wondering.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): For the past couple of weeks, I've found life quite different. The pack leader and Peter stay home. And they wake up late.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, it seems that they don't work any more. They keep me good company all the time. That's good for me!
Reflecting.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But would they run out of food for me? Is that the reason why they have nothing for me this morning?
Worrying.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Furthermore, I haven't seen the other gang members for quite a while now. Have they been abandoned?
Doubting.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd) (Worried): Will I be abandoned as well? Oh, so very scary...
Kaji looks disturbed.
KAJI (V.O.): And will the sky fall down too?
Seeing Peter returning to the sleeping room, Kaji follows him.
INT. SLEEPING ROOM - DAY
KAJI (V.O.): Oh, the pack leader is still sleeping. I sleep a lot. Have I infected her in any way?
Peter returns to bed.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): And Peter too! Oh my God!
KAJI jumps up to the bed and begins to lick Peter's nose.
KAJI (V.O.): You know what I mean...
Peter, however, isn't responsive.
KAJI(V.O.)(Cont'd): What more can I do?
After rolling over in bed, the PACK LEADER lazily checks the time.
PACK LEADER: Oh, it's so late...
KAJI(V.O.) (Cont'd): How hard the situation is?
Act 3
INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY
Seeing food being put on her bowl, Kaji looks relieved.
KAJI (V.O.): Good, at least I don't have to stay hungry for now.
EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY
Kaji is playing happily with her friends.
KAJI (V.O.): I don't mind coming here every day. I shouldn't miss any moments - even
though I'm playing with kids.
INT. SITTING ROOM - NIGHT
Food is being put on Kaji's bowl again.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): Yes, I love good days!
FADE OUT.
