Act 1

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

Sitting on her sofa spot, KAJI gets a cue from PETER.

KAJI (V.O.): It seems that he has something good to offer me.

PETER: Kai Kai?

The PACK LEADER intervenes.

PACK LEADER: Don't tell her so early. We'll only set off in 15 minutes.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): They've hearts, like me.

Act 2

EXT. ROADS - LATER

Kaji is walking and running. The Pack Leader can hardly follow. Peter is 100 meters behind.

KAJI (V.O.): I know the way. I can lead.

EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY

Enters Kaji and the Pack Leader.

KAJI (V.O.): Here I come again!

While Kaji finds her favourite spots, a big BLACK DOG approaches her from the side, head down a bit, trying to sniff Kaji's rear end.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've urgent things to do. Go away!

The Black Dog insists, as Peter appears.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): My protector is here. I'm telling you again: Don't bother me!

As the Black Dog leaves, Kaji obeys the calls of nature to her content.

PACK LEADER: Why don't you go and play with others?

KAJI (V.O.): They're unfamiliar to me.

The Black Dog approaches Kaji again.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't like your scent. Leave me alone!

Kaji runs away from the Black Dog.

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): How can I enjoy my time here without any disturbance?

Recalling.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The dominant humans don't sit on the grass or ground.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): They sit in chairs.

Walking towards an empty bench, Kaji jumps onto it and sits, as other DOGS walk past.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): In the pet garden, I believe the rights of humans and dogs are equal.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Sitting here and looking down at others, I feel my dominance.

The Pack Leader and Peter begin to take photos of Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Have I become pretentious?

ACT 3

INT. SITTING ROOM - NIGHT

Coming out from the bathroom, Kaji chooses to sit on the sofa with Peter.

KAJI (V.O.): How nice is a place can be judged by the way I'm treated.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're family, whether in the pet garden or at home.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I enjoy my human rights.

FADE OUT.
