FADE IN.
Act 1
INT. SITTING ROOM - NIGHT
KAJI sees the PACK LEADER turning on her laptop.
KAJI (V.O.): I've a hunch she might be talking to the no-scent gang member via the screen soon.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): When he appears on screen, I couldn't smell his scent.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I don't know if there's anything wrong with me or with him. My hunch is that I'm alright.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): When he's around, he likes to play the piano. And I like to feel the harmony.
Hearing a voice from the laptop.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): Yes, that's him. My hunch becomes real.
Act 2
KAJI is playing with the pack leader.
Kaji (V.O.): I know I've to obey all the commands before I'd be rewarded with my late night dessert.
PACK LEADER: Hand!
Kaji lifts up her left hand.
Kaji (V.O.) (Cont'd): Our routines again. Unlike my little hunches, I'm certain that I'm going to have my dessert.
PACK LEADER: The other one!
Kaji lifts her right hand.
KAJi (V.O.) (Cont'd): In fact, I'm just very basic and easy. With a treat in sight, the pack leader can make me do anything.
PACK LEADER: Sit!
Kaji sits.
PACK LEADER: Okay!
Kaji reacts swiftly to trace the half-hidden dessert and gets it. Finishing it, Kaji begins to sleep by the side of the pack leader.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm content and should have a sweet dream.
Then, there're some low rumbling sounds from the outside.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh! They sounded like thunders.
As the pack leader peeps behind the curtains, lightning flashes.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Wow, I saw it. So frightening!
Then, more loud and sharp cracking sounds follow.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh my God, the sky's falling again! Where could I hide?
PACK LEADER: Come on! Get inside the girl gang member's room.
Seeing the hand gestures, Kaji obeys readily.
Act 3
INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY
Resting on a piano chair, Kaji is thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Peter doesn't come out for breakfast. He must still be hiding in his sleeping room.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, when we're frightful, we've no mood even for food. Some soothing piano music should help us recover.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Although I don't know how to play the piano, I like to get close to it.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've a hunch that the no-scent gang member would come home before long.
Pondering.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Little hunches like that provide positive energy in me to live well in the moment.
FADE OUT.
