Kaji: My Agendas

FADE IN.

Act 1

INT. SLEEPING ROOM - DAY

Sitting at the end of the bed, KAJI stares at the door.

KAJI (V.O.): I can hear that it's all quiet outside.

Kaji then turns her head to watch the PACK LEADER who is sleeping.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): It seems that she doesn't have to go out this morning.

Kaji then watches PETER who has just rolled over in bed.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): Even Peter isn't waking up. I can't transact my morning agendas.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): No breakfasts with Peter and our maid. How about my brunch?

Phone alarm sounds.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I can tell it's already late in the morning.

As the pack leader climbs out of bed, Kaji follows.

Act 2

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

The pack leader puts food pellets into Kaji's meal bowl.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've got tired of waiting.

As Kaji just rests near her meal bowl, the pack leader begins to feed her.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): No!

FLASHBACK

EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY

Watching Kaji, a pet OWNER (40s) talks the pack leader.

OWNER: How much do you feed her? She's very fat.

KAJI (V.O.): I don't think he's appreciating me as Miss Doggy.

RETURN TO PRESENT

As Kaji turns her mouth away from the food pellet, Peter appears.

PETER: She has to be fed again?

PACK LEADER: The maid said otherwise she wouldn't eat.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes. But today, I'm going to be mad at them.

PACK LEADER: I just leave her brunch here.

PETER: Let me try.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): No!

Peter looks angry.

PETER: Naughty dog!

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Hmm, I'm not naughty. I don't like the way I'm being treated.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let today be my fast day - my extraordinary agenda.

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): If I stick to my value, I can strengthen my spirit, revealing my character at the same time.

Turning her head away from Peter, Kaji walks away.

Act 3

INT. DINING ROOM - DAY

Peter comes home with takeaways.

KAJI (V.O.): I can smell they've something different. I've to reconsider my stance.

Kaji, the pack leader and then Peter take their seats at the dining table.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Breaking out from my extraordinary agenda is tempting. I'm a little hungry actually.

Seeing the pack leader wrapping some of her food with Kaji's food pellets, Kaji licks her upper and lower lips.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I like fusion food.

As food is put on the table, Kaji consumes it readily.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): They've changed their behaviour to fit my preference.

The pack leader repeats the process again and again until Kaji finishes all her pellets.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): My real agenda is to be loved.
