Kaji: No Bread Today

Act 1

INT. DINNG ROOM - MORNING

Sitting at the dining table, KAJI smells something.

KAJI (V.O.): Strange, the food is different.

Kaji then sees some dumplings.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Not sure what I might have.

Kaji sees PETER pointing his phone camera at her.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He's doing that again.

Kaji looks away as if she's distracted by something. Peter smiles.

Act 2

INT. DINING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

PETER: You've human character.

Kaji (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't tell; but you get it.

Kaji continues to observe the food on the table.

PETER: She doesn't know why there's no bread today.

The PACK LEADER and other GANG MEMBERS appear.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It isn't a common sight.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Do they know what does this message mean?

PETER: There's nothing for our darling?

Getting some treats, the Pack Leader places them near Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's my small share.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I've to be good to earn them.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Anyhow, Peter has reacted well with my sense of humour.

Having responded to the "Ching Ching" command, Kaji earns a treat.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Peter has never commanded me to do anything.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He has a sense of good life.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's why I love to lick him all the time.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): To the Pack Leader and other Gang Members, I've also shown my love and loyalty with heart.

Pondering.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Does having a sense of humour make me a good pet too?

ACT 3

INT. DINING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): Living with the Pack Leader and the Gang, I feel I'm part of them.

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Having a sense of humour should be one good life characteristic.

Pondering.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's also my defence against minor troubles.

Kaji takes a look at Peter.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've a hunch we'd have an adventure to fill our souls.
