Kaji: Stay Humble

FADE IN.

Act 1

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

Seeing PETER sitting on a sofa gluing to his phone, KAJI sits quietly next to him.

KAJI (V.O.): Peter has something to do, I wouldn't disturb him. I just wait.

Seeing Kaji waiting, Peter directs his phone camera at Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I'll continue to stay humble under the spotlight. He makes me wait, knowing how humble I'm.

Feeling Peter's body moving away from the sofa, Kaji leads him to the dining room.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): Food has been put on the table already. Can't you smell it?

INT. DINING ROOM - DAY

Both Kaji and Peter are seated at the table. Before he eats, Peter serves Kaji with food.

KAJI (V.O.): I can feel my importance in the family.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): But I've never abused my privileged position.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm humble and wise enough to play fair.

Act 2

INT. DINING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

FLASHBACK

A GANG MEMBER is saying: "Guy, Guy" to Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.): It's been nearly a week that I haven't gone out.

Kaji makes some whining sounds.

GANG MEMBER: Oh, I haven't had a walk for a long time...

KAJI (V.O.): She's teasing me.

Kaji makes more whining sounds.

GANG MEMBER: I very much want to go now...

KAJI (V.O.): Yes, you don't take me out. I can see the pack leader working all the time.

The PACK LEADER helps Kaji putting on her harness.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): She works hard and stays humble.

Reflecting.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Me too. I've spent my days waiting her home. Now is "Guy, Guy" time.

RETURN TO PRESENT

Soon, they finish all the food on the table.

PETER: Finished. No more.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I can see that. I wouldn't ask for more.

After licking clean an empty plate, Peter licks Peter's fingers.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): My behaviours reflect my humble character.

Act 3

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

Following Peter, Kaji returns to the sofa. She then jumps up on Peter's chest.

KAJI (V.O.): Let me clean your face as well.

Kaji licks Peter's lips and nose enthusiastically. Peter doesn't show any reclusiveness.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I do everything with a good heart and expect nothing in return.

Kaji looks at Peter.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm just thankful for what I've got.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I make my family whole, humbly.

FADE OUT.
