Kaji: The Next Time

FADE IN.

Act 1

EXT. STREETS - DAY

At parkside, KAJI emerges from a just-opened cot of a carrier cart.

KAJI (V.O.): Yes, I like going out. I like adventures. Let me get down!

The PACKLEADER puts Kaji on the ground as PETER watches. Kaji does her wet-dog shake.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let's go! I know my way to the pet garden and beyond.

On a leash, Kaji leads, the pack leader follows with difficulty, leaving Peter and the carrier cart behind.

Act 2

FLASHBACK

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

Accompanied by Kaji, the pack leader and Peter are watching TV. Then, Kaji sees and hears their sudden joyful facial expressions.

KAJI (V.O.): What has stimulated them?

Kaji takes a look of the TV images. She sees two Giant Pandas stucking together.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Have they tied the knots?

END FLASHBACK

EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY

Kaji is strolling here and there. A young SHIBA INU GIRL wants to play with her. Kaji barks in response.

KAJI (V.O.): Don't bother me! I'm not interested in you, girl.

Seeing a young black PUDDLE GIRL nearby, Kaji lungs at her.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): This is my turf! You girl go away!

As the poor Puddle gets rescue from her carer, the pack leader intervenes with Kaji's behaviour.

PACK LEADER: Don't!

PETER: She's quite out of character today!

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I just feel some heat in me.

Having patrolled her territories, Kaji looks bored.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Where the boys are?

PACK LEADER: Let's go elsewhere then.

EXT. PROMENADE - DAY

Seeing a tall and muscular SHIBA INU BOY in front, Kaji runs to him.

KAJI (Smiing): How do you do? I'm so pleased to meet you!

BOY(Playing cool): Hi.

After observing each other, they stay close and refuse to move.

KAJI: I feel I don't mind being stuck together for a while.

BOY: But there're so many humans around.

KAJI: I've already stretched my limit...

Then, they see and hear other BUSYBODIES.

BUSYBODIES: She's inviting but he's playing cool. Would they just mate without courting? Ha Ha!

KAJI & BOY: Perhaps,the next time,

They part.

Act 3

EXT. STREETS - NIGHT

After walking past several streets without meeting any other boys or friends, Kaji stops at a gate.

KAJI (V.O.): Let's call it a day and go home.

The Pack leader and Peter help Kaji going back inside her cot.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Although I've met the right boy at the right spring time for love, we're at the wrong place. I'll anticipate the next time.

FADE OUT.
