FADE IN.
Act 1
EXT. ROADSIDE - DAY
Inside a carrier cart KAJI waits. The PACK LEADER then puts Kaji inside a car.
KAJI (V.O.): I know I'd be taken good care of.
Sitting on the passenger seat, Kaji watches the Pack Leader and PETER working together to put a folded carrier cart at the rear of their car.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's for my exclusive use.
Door closing. Kaji begins to watch the moving scenes.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe we'll go to my pet garden.
Kaji sees the scenes of the pet garden disappearing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What's happening? But I still feel excited.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is there some sort of magic in the unexpected?
Act 2
EXT. STREETS - LATER
Waiting at her carrier cart, Kaji observes the environment.
KAJI (V.O.): I've been here before - about once a year.
Kaji sees the Pack Leader and the GANG going up an escalator, leaving her and Peter behind.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): It was already a long ride from home to get here!
After whining a few times, Peter puts Kaji on the ground.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, that's what I want.
Kaji does her whole-dog shake.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me explore the place.
On a leash, Kaji leads Peter to a nearby area under the shade.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Unlike the pet garden we go regularly, the ground here is covered with brown leaves.
Kaji gets light on a spot.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've to do my scent marking.
Kaji leads Peter to another spot and gets light again.
KAJI (V.O.): Although I'm not desperate, I consider the spots perfect to do my outdoor business.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): How would Peter take care of the mess I've left behind? He has never done that before.
Kaji sees Peter using his shoes to dig the brown leaves and earth to cover the mess.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's magic!
MONTAGE OF KAJI'S OTHER ACTIVITIES
A. Inside an apartment, Kaji guards the dim-sums on the table and keeps a PARTY company.
B. Staying close to Peter, Kaji sees a treat in his hand and grabs it quickly.
C. Hearing some sounds outside, Kaji is on the alert and looks anxious to do her duty.
D. Kaji, the Pack Leader and the Gang, are on the road again.
END MONTAGE
EXT. PET GARDEN, SUNG WONG TOI - LATER
Car door opening. Kaji shoots out.
KAJI (V.O.): We come here occasionally.
Kaji leads the Pack Leader and the Gang to the entrance.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel like a queen whenever I'm here.
Gates opening, Kaji runs inside a concrete compound dotted large running dogs.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): There're many masters here and some like to pet me.
As she mingles with her FRIENDS#1-3, Kaji sees a STRANGER getting very close to the Pack Leader beginning to pet her.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG!
Kaji quickly disengages with his friends and gets near to the Pack Leader. But the stranger and the Pack Leader aren't distracted.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've to believe in the unbelievable.
Act 3
EXT. ROADSIDE - NIGHT
Inside a stationary car, Kaji waits at her seat.
KAJI (V.O.): I know they've to get my carrier cart out. But I've got to expect the unexpected.
As the car door is open, Kaji sees her carrier cart.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): My enemy isn't hiding inside. It's the unexpected that changes lives.
Getting inside her carrier cart without much help, we hear: Good girl!
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And whenever possible, I'll be the unexpected.
