INT. SITTING ROOM - NOON
KAJI is relaxing on a sofa, looking bored. PETER appears with a phone in hand.
KAJI (V.O.) (Giving Peter a look) : Why do you take photos of me all the time?
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd) : This Sunday is so quiet and doesn't seem to be a fun day.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd) (Avoiding Peter's gaze) : It'd be different if you're holding a treat or something.
Wondering.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Even if you want to lure me, I've just had lunch. I shouldn't take it anyway. It isn't good for me.
Taking one photo of Kaji from the front. Peter proceeds to take another from the top. As Peter tries to take one from the floor level, Kaji makes a head turn.
FLASHBACK
INT. SITTING ROOM - MORNING
As Peter is relaxing on a sofa, Kaji jumps up and licks his face.
Kaji then brings a stuff toy to Peter, getting his attention.
KAJI (V.O.) : I know he'd play with me every time I want to play.
END FLASHBACK
As Peter makes a head turn, Kaji sees Peter holding an apple.
KAJI (V.O.) (Licking her upper lip): I like apples and Peter knows that.
Kaji has become engaging, gazing at Peter's apple.
We then hear a sound coming from the sleeping room.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd) (Worried) : Oh no! The pack leader has woken up and she doesn't want me to have too many snacks.
Seeing the pack leader entering, Peter and Kaji immediately disengage.
As the MAID puts food on the dining table, Kaji jumps up to take a seat and smell the food.
KAJI (V.O.): Smells great...
PACK LEADER: It isn't for you!
PETER (To Kaji): I can't give you anything as the pack leader will scold us...
KAJI (V.O.) (Frustrated): I know. They say you do bad to me believing you do good. I can never understand that, as I want to enjoy life and not just to live it away.
Kaji leaves her seat as if she gives in.
Unnoticed, Kaji hides under the table and puts her head on Peter's lap. Then, she sees a hand holding a small piece
of apple.
KAJI (V.O.) (Taking it): Yes, we don't need any eye-to-eye communication. We just use our intelligence.
FADE OUT.
