Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. PORTSMINSTER KITCHEN, ST IVES - 18:00
Classy and cosy by the sea. Peter and his WIFE are having oysters and fish while their younger daughter is having steak.
PETER: Yesterday night, we had a very nice meal at The Seafood Cafe in town. This one has full sea view.
WIFE: While we strolled along the Wharf Road after dinner, you spotted this one and suggested it as an option for tonight.
DAUGHTER: I checked that the reviews of this restaurant are very good too.
As Peter is enjoying the sea view, he sees and they hear fireworks.
PETER: Oh, fireworks!
As his wife and their daughter turn their heads, Peter begins to capture videos with his iPad Mini.
PETER: Although not as gorgeous as Hong Kong ones, they're spectacular nonetheless.
WIFE: The show can be quite costly if sponsors do that every Saturday.
DAUGHTER: I've just checked that today, Nov 5, is actually the Guy Fawkes Night, celebrating King James I had survived an attempted treason plot.
PETER: We don't know about that until now. If we eat in town, we would miss the display.
RETURN TO PRESENT
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As a town, St Ives is known for its art galleries. That's why our younger daughter chose to visit it before attending her congregation ceremony.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Our highlight in St Ives was to visit the Tate Art Museum.
FLASHBACK
INT. TATE ST IVES - DAY (Nov 5. 2022)
Peter, his wife and their younger daughter are touring the museum rooms.
PETER (V.O.): So far, the artworks on display don't appeal to my eyes. Our daughter doesn't look excited either.
WIFE: Have you noticed there's a Picasso painting in a corner?
PETER: Is that right?
Following his wife's finger pointing, Peter sees a small painting of a head in a corner.
PETER (V.O.): It's called "Head of a Woman" 1924. Picasso's signature is at the top right hand corner.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): How to appreciate it?
Examining.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is the head actually a woman's head or a combination of a man's and a woman's head?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I quite like his use of simple forms eg the woman's triangular eye. I believe I can draw it too.
Examining.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): How about his use of non-natural colours?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And after all, what's the work's inner significance, if any?
Thinking.
PETER (V.O. (Cont'd). Is it the two sides of a woman viewed from different angles?
Later, Peter sees an old Sony TV set on display.
RETURN TO PRESENT
Act 3
INT. STUDY - 20:30
Peter is watching TV via a SONY set.
PETER (V.O.): A change of perspective allows a new set of possibilities.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I try to see things from different perspectives and wouldn't limit myself to just one point of view.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Having multiple perspectives, I believe I can have wisdom in anything.
