A. High up in the sky, PETER is riding on a flying carpet.
B. On the magic carpet, Peter flies high above the ground from one place to another.
C. As he looks down from above, we see anxiety in Peter's face.
END DREAM SEQUENCE
INT. BEDROOM - 08:00
In bed, Peter opens his eyes.
PETER (V.O.): I was worried that I might fall from the sky.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A wonderful dream though.
Act 2
EXT. LAKESIDE RESTAURANT - 14:45
Peter is enjoying his tea set and screen time.
PETER (V.O.): A Quoran asks me if I've a bucket list, and what's the most exciting thing I've done so far.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I remember I watched the film The Bucket List in-flight over 10 years ago.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Then, I didn't feel much about the film's setting. Now, it has become real to me.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): But I don't have a list as I can organise with my mind.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If I had a bucket list, I wouldn't have written down a magic carpet ride as an item.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): As to the most exciting thing, it turns out to be my entrepreneurship fund project that I began from mid-Sept 2021.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): The inciting incident was that my wealth managers urged me to buy more of their products.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): While I hate financial management, I found out that the more I bought their stuff, the less money I got..
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): If I'm to lose money, why don't I lose it myself?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): For four months now, I've been buying Hong Kong stocks - of 67 companies in total.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I'll buy the 68th one when I turn 68.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My initial investment result was encouraging as I got over 5% positive gain.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But since late Nov 2021, I've been having negative gain.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I've learned to adapt to the change, or the financial pain.
EXT. HIGHWAY - 19:30
Driving past a bridge near CUHK, Peter hears Bang! at his car top. He withdraws his head and body reflectively.
PETER (V.O.): Oh! What has fallen down from above!
INT. SITTING ROOM - 22:45
Opening an envelop, Peter reads a statement to his WIFE.
PETER: My portfolio change: -19.46% - managed by fund managers.
Peter checks his entrepreneurial fund.
PETER (Cont'd): My portfolio change: - 1.75% - managed by myself!
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - 23:45
Background music.
PETER (V.O.): I'm fortunate today. I've lost less money, and the fallen object caused no dent on my car top.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Learning lessons from all sorts of adversities, I've built my character and created my art of living.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'll follow my muse and be the artist of my world.
Peter goes to bed.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I cherish my life experience - not dreams.
