Act 1
INT. LIVING ROOM - 11:45
After completing his Duolingo streaks on his mobile, PETER checks his emails and replies to one of them.
PETER (V.O.): Papers from the Duty Lawyer Service.
Peter then prints out the attachments from the email.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've a meeting with my client scheduled for tomorrow.
His mobile rings, and Peter answers.
PETER (V.O.): It's a kind phone reminder from the Duty Lawyer Service.
His telephone conversation comes to a close.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'd postpone the decluttering work in my NT home for another day.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Maybe I should test my recently repaired MB and go swimming at Silverstrand.
Act 2
EXT. ROADS TO SILVERSTRAND - 13: 20
Peter is driving a deep blue MB seden.
PETER (V.O.): Weeks ago, its airconditioning malfunctioned. As I intend to let my younger son drive it when he returns to Hong Kong for good, I spent a substantial sum to have the system overhauled.
Driving.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I received the car back, the mechanics reported a potential engine stalling issue.
Driving.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This has never happened before, which makes me wonder if I might have overdone it.
Driving.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If the issue is real, I'll have it fixed in good time.
EXT. CAR PARK, SILVERSTRAND BAY - 13:35
Peter parks the MB in a metered slot under a shade.
PETER (V.O.): The car is fine; but I've mislaid my sunblock.
Peter feeds the meter and then walks down to the Bay, a mix of apprehension and hope etched on his face.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The last time I came, it was closed due to the Bay's water being covered in oil slicks.
Peter touches the scar above his left eyebrow.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Then, I had a home accident that required four stitches. For weeks, I've kept the wound dry to prevent any complications.
EXT. SILVERSTRAND BAY - LATER
As the view of the Bay unfolds, dotted with about half a dozen SWIMMERS, a look of delight spreads across Peter's face.
PETER (V.O.): No oily sheen. The Bay is pristine.
Peter scans the familiar curve of the shore.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Just clear water laps on clean sand.
Peter strips down to his swim brief, and then pushes off into a smooth front crawl.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Back. Finally back.
Later, Peter grabs the ladder of one of the two round floating platforms moored about 100 meters out.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I can see schools of small fish darting around again!
Gazing at the fish.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Here's heaven on earth for all living beings.
INT. DRUG STORE - 16:00
Peter sees a sign: Every Wednesday, 5% discount for senior citizens.
PETER (V.O.): 5% off being old? I must buy my sunblock here.
Peter heads straight to the suncare isle and picks up a product.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This one appeals to my eyes, but there's a simplier and more expensive one next to it.
Pulling out his mobile, Peter researches on the two products and then puts back the product that appeals to his eyes.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's no doubt it's popular, but a certain institution doesn't recommend it.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I always buy products eg cars that catch my eyes, but the sunblock I had irritated my chest. That's why I'm researching this time.
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - 21:30
Peter uploads an image of Silverstand Bay, captured today, to a draft on his laptop.
PETER (V.O.): The Bay's restored purity mirrors my emotional renewal.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The Bay's stillness isn't empty silence; it's a dialogue between saltwater and sky, and now I finally remember the words.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): "Silverstrand Clear" isn't just a place - it's the moment life's fog lifts, revealing depths I forgot could shine.
