Something Wonderful

  2. Act 1


  3. INT. BEDROOM - 08:00


  4. Waking up, PETER looks lost.


  5. PETER (V.O.): I've had several dreams last night. Will something wonderful happen during the day?


  6. Thinking.


  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):If I had a choice, I don't know if I'd choose to dream or not.


  8. INT. STUDY - 10:00


  9. Peter turns on his computer.


  10. PETER (V.O.): A dream may mean what I see in sleep. It may also mean something I've been thinking of achieving all the time.


  11. Peter edits a draft.


  12. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This is the business model that may accomplish my big dream.


  13. Peter sends a copy to someone.


  14. Act 2


  15. EXT. PARK - 13:00


  16. Having jogged along a path, Peter stops at a ring area.


  17. PETER (V.O.): Let me exercise with style.


  18. Tapping on a YouTube video clip on his smartphone screen, Peter begins to dance up-and-down Waltz box steps in counter-clockwise direction.


  19. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My wife and I used to dance Waltz very well.


  20. PASSER-BY#1 walks past.


  21. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My dreams don't work until I make them happen.


  22. Peter then starts to dance Vienna Waltz. First, a right natural turn. Then a left reverse turn. Then, he changes steps from one turn to another.


  23. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There were times when my wife and I would bump into others because the tempo of Vienna Waltz is twice the speed of Waltz.


  24. Dancing.


  25. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Dance is the joy of movement. I'm now dancing my dream!


  26. PASSER-BY#2 walks past.


  27. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's hard to share dreams about succession of images and sensations.


  28. Dancing.


  29. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The better way is to show my dreams.


  30. Resting.


  31. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But am I too late to re-focus on my dreams?


  32. Thinking.


  33. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've only one life, and I still have heartbeats.


  34. Pondering.


  35. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, all sorts of wonderful things may happen.


  36. Peter looks around.


  37. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): So start where I'm, use whatever space I've and dance what I can.


  38. Finishing his dance, Peter jogs along the path again.


  39. INT. STUDY - 16:00


  40. Peter puts his smartphone aside.


  41. PETER (V.O.): Like dreams, the stock market is something that I can't control.


  42. Pausing.


  43. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can dream big. But it doesn't mean all dreams are attainable.


  44. Peter grabs a novel to read.


  45. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't expect to get any new assignment before the Chinese New Year.


  46. Ding! Peter sees a What'sApp notification.


  47. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, its from a solicitor...


  48. Having checked the message, Peter begins to research with his smartphone.


  49. Act 3


  50. INT. BEDROOM - 23:00


  51. Background music.


  52. PETER (V.O.): I believe I've done something wonderful this Monday.


  53. Pausing.


  54. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):Designing a business model for the future of Hong Kong, China and sharing it with like-minded people is wonderful.


  55. Pausing.


  56. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): During pandemic time, dancing solo could make me fly without wings.


  57. Pausing.


  58. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me continue to chase my dreams, some of which could be inspirational.


  59. Peter goes to bad.
