Dressed in a casual outfit, PETER is about to leave.
PETER (V.O.): Today is Valentine's Day again.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Let me buy one best rose for my wife again.
INT. FLOWER STALL - LATER
Vibrant displays. Peter scans the blossoms.
PETER (V.O): It appears each is more beautiful than the last.
Smiling, Peter picks up a single red rose and pays. A look of warmth spreads across his face.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): A token of affection destined for the love of my life.
Act 2
INT. LIVING ROOM - LATER
Sitting on a sofa, Peter opens YouTube to find a song from his channel.
PETER (V.O): My bilingual song on Valentine's Day is called "Cupid".
Peter watches his MV.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): The footages depict the sights of the snow festivals in Otaru and in Sapporo.
Having copied the link, Peter opens Facebook.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Let me share it...
Having done what is in his mind, Peter sees another of his MV appearing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Oh yes, "Goal & Role", I love the melody and lyrics...
Then, his another MV "La, La, La".
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): It's a fun song. I've nearly forgotten about it. La-la-la means I love you!
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Soon after it's written, I shared it to a chatgroup of tour members; and I got a "No" response from a girl...
Then, his another MV "Love at 1st Sight".
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): This trilingual song records my love of exploring open waters near Ishigaki.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): A female friend of mine liked it a lot.
Then, his another MV "Are We in Love".
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I performed it live once and found that myself screaming...
Then, his another MV "Don't Make Me Blue".
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): With the right inspiration, the song "Don't Make Me Blue" did come easy
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I haven't told anyone who gave me the inspiratioin.
Then, his another MV "Untold Story".
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I wrote the verses pretty quickly. as to the chorus, it took me years to complete the song as it is.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): When I sing this love song, it brings me down...
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): On Valentine's Day, let me share these songs of love and life via Facebook.
INT. STUDIO, PETER'S NT HOME - 17:00
Having practised the piano, Peter picks up a blue acoustic guitar.
PETER (V.O): I haven't played guitar for a while.
Peter feels his finger tips.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I don't have calluses anymore, but I've to play the guitar and sing my songs coming Wednesday...
As Peter strums the strings, the sound that emerges is a mix of clumsy chords.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I couldn't remember the chords of the love songs that I wrote.
As Peter picks at the strings, the rhythm stumbles.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Oh, dear...
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - 21:30
Peter inserts an AI drawing titled: "Songs of Love and Life..." to a draft on his laptop.
PETER (V.O): Love evokes strong feelings while life is filled with ups and downs.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I love artistic expressions, be they literary, dramatic or musical works.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Rediscovering old memories through my songs of love and life fills my heart with joy!
