  1. FADE IN

  2. Act 1

  3. EXT. CHUNG HOM KOK - 10:30

  4. From a Route#6X bus, PETER alights at a bus stop at a small roundabout.

  5. PETER (V.O.): At last, I'm here.

  6. Peter sees a directional sign: Chung Hom Kok Beach.

  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I drove here before; but I could neither find car parks nor see the Beach.

  8. Walking down a quiet cul-de-sac, Peter sees a car parked at the end.

  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Has it been booked?

  10. Seeing an entry point, Peter takes the steps downhill.

  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've been wondering what Chung Hom Kok Beach is like.

  12. Observing the trees along the way, Peter looks excited.

  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The Chung Hom Kok Beach is about to reveal its mystery to me.

  14. Act 2

  16. INT. STUDIO - 08:45

  17. Looking out of the window, Peter sees sunshine.

  18. PETER (V.O.): I thought there's a good chance it might rain today.

  19. Pausing.

  20. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've to work tomorrow. Shouldn't I seize the opportunity to go to a beach now?

  21. Quickly, Peter puts his swimming gears inside a black bag.

  22. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Probably due to the colour contrast, I find it easier to spot my black bag than my red one from floating platforms.

  23. Peter exits.

  24. EXT. ROADS TO HONG KONG - 09:00

  25. While his WIFE is driving, Peter researches with his smart phone.

  26. PETER (V.O.): People say the Chung Hom Kok Beach is the best place to watch sunset. I love watching sunsets anywhere.

  27. Pondering.

  28. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Perhaps, I swim in the morning, have lunch there, swim again in the afternoon, and then wait for the setting sun.

  30. EXT. CHUNG HOM KOK BEACH - 10:45

  31. Walking past a children's playground, Peter arrives at the beach.

  32. PETER (V.O.) : Golden sand, blue sea and a floating platform. Beautiful!

  33. Peter sees COUPLE#1 taking photos on the right and COUPLE#2 doing the same on the left.

  34. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's quiet and peaceful here. Apart from two lifeguard towers, I don't see any kiosk for food and beverage.

  35. Peter sees a few TRADESMEN fixing drinking fountains. Going to a nearby shower area, Peter turns on a tap and we see water coming out.

  36. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ok, the shower facilities still work...

  37. Peter then sees a banner: Lifeguard services suspended. Please don't swim.

  38. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Even on a Sept day as nice as this? What a mystery!

  39. Peter stares at the two empty lifeguard towers.

  40. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Nobody's there. I'll be a lone swimmer and have to be self-reliant.

  41. Peter takes a look of the floating platform in the swimming area.

  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This bay is new to me, But the water doesn't seem rough.

  43. Calculating.

  44. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Unless I hurt myself or something hurts me, I'm confident I can manage the risk.

  45. Leaving his black bag on the beach, Peter swims towards the floating platform and climbs up its stepladder later.

  46. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's fish underneath.

  47. Scratching his left leg casually, Peter sees a wound bleeding.

  48. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, it happens unexpectedly...Wow, the sounds of the breeze and the sea are rather loud and clear.

  49. Quickly, Peter leaves the floating platform and swims back to the beach. He then takes a look of his leg wound.

  50. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The cure for anything is salt water. I've to manage my expectations and call it a day.

  51. Act 3

  52. EXT. CHUNG HOM KOK - 12:15

  53. Waiting at a bus stop opposite to the one he got off earlier, Peter is in thoughts.

  54. PETER (V.O.): Any mystery generates wonder. And wonder is the basis of beings' desire to understand.

  55. Pondering.

  56. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Beings are stardust brought to life. As highly intelligent ones, we should figure out the mystery of life.

  57. A Route#6X bus is approaching.

  58. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Instead of wondering about the mystery of life, we've to experience it for real.

  59. Peter boards the bus.
