Act 1
INT. STUDY - 13:00
Smartphone in hand, PETER taps Google Maps and sees his profile.
PETER (V.O.): Well, my contributions have 70M views.
We see Peter tapping the "contribute now" box and a photo with a caption "Triangle of Forest Hat".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Triangle of Forest Hat? What's that?
Peter reads the small prints.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I visited it last week? The place is based on my location?
Peter then checks the photos depicting the place, including the image of a demon-like sculpture.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh yes, my wife and I were there.
Peter begins to check his Google Photos App.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
EXT. ROUTE 493, SHIKOKU - 13:00 (28 March 2023)
In a silver Mazda 2, Peter's WIFE is driving along the twisty narrow roads. Peter acts as the navigator.
PETER: Slow...watch the edge of the cliff on your side.
WIFE: Yes, I'm driving with great care.
A car coming in the opposition direction stops ahead at a space to give way.
PETER: The route is like a hiking path. But it's being used as a dual carriageway.
WIFE: Never in my life have I had such a driving experience, and for so long!
At last, they see a proper dual-carriage way ahead.
WIFE (Cont'd): My ordeal is over!
PETER: An adventure though!
EXT. SHIMANTO RIVER - 14:30
Beautiful natural scenery. We hear birds singing. Peter and his wife were two of the eight passengers on a houseboat cruise.
PETER: We thought we might have lunch here. We now know that there's no catering service.
WIFE: See if we can drive to a restaurant to try Kabayaki Eel Rice.
Peter researches with his smartphone right away.
PETER: Oh, the recommended restaurant is closing at 15:00.
EXT. ROUTE 441 - 15:45
Peter is now driving. His wife acts as the navigator.
PETER: I feel hungry. But there isn't any roadside convenience store.
Driving past Sakura blossoms on their right, we hear the GPS assistant says "Turn left".
PETER (Cont'd): It seems there's a commercial compound ahead. Shall we check it out?
WIFE: Why not?
Carefully, Peter drives straight to it and parks the car.
PETER: I've to go to the toilet first.
WIFE: Me too.
INT. SUPERMARKET - 16:00
At the cashier, Peter's wife is buying a box of strawberries.
PETER: Darling, I believe there's a Ramen bar at the corner.
WIFE: Is that right?
As they walk near the bar, they see no activities.
PETER: It's closed.
EXT. BUS WAITING STATION - CONTINUOUS
Peter and his wife are checking a vending machine.
WIFE: It sells Glico ice creams.
They buy ice cream cones. And soon repeats.
PETER: It has never occurred to us that we'd have Japanese ice creams for lunch today!
Later, they check out a demon-like sculpture and capture photos of the place.
PETER (V.O.): Even I wouldn't bother to check the Sakura blossoms nearby.
END FLASHBACK
Act 3
INT. STUDY - CONTINUOUS
On Google Maps, Peter rates the Triangle of Forest Hat.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We live in a wonderful world that's full of beauty and charm.
Peter then inserts photos, contributes his review and posts it.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I won't forget about the Triangle of Forest Hat at Kihoku in Shikoku.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel the joy of discovery. Yes, live, travel and adventure!
