Act 1
INT. STUDY - AFTER MIDNIGHT
Working behind a laptop, PETER is drafting something
PETER (V.O.): Last Friday and Saturday, I spent good times with my wife. On Sunday afternoon, I watched the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever. It's only right that I've to catch up with my professional work.
Checking his draft.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Done! I can send it off right away if I hear from the other side on Monday morning. The task has to be completed by Wednesday.
Peter shuts down his laptop.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can go sleeping now.
INT. SLEEPING ROOM - MORNING
Peter wakes up.
PETER (V.O.): After driving my wife to work, I'll deal with other outstanding tasks.
Act 2
INT. STUDY - LATER
Peter appears.
PETER (V.O.): Let me first check how I may file the papers to the Court Registry on Wednesday.
Engaging in phone conversations, Peter jots down some numbers.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I expect the other side would respond to my Saturday enquiry anytime soon.
Checking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, great! She has just replied. I can send off my draft.
Having sent his mail and attachment, Peter soon gets another reply.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Okay, she needs at least a day to settle that. The ball is in her court now.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That means I can focus on other outstanding tasks.
INT. CHAMBERS - NOON
Dressing in flamboyant outfit, Peter is giving red packets to SECRETARIES.
PETER (V.O.): It's my first time returning to Chambers after the Chinese New Year holidays.

In front of an ATM, Peter is depositing a cheque.
PETER (V.O.): It's only now that I've the time to do it.
Later, standing on a moving walkway, Peter hears and sees a LADY greeting him from a distance enthusiastically. Peter reciprocates.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's great that my former colleague was so pleased to see me. My outfit also reflects my mood.
EXT. WANCHAI AREA - LATER
Peter takes photos from time to time.
PETER (V.O.): From 1994 -2014, I was working in the area. Now, the area has become more interesting than before. I feel like having a staycation.
Peter enters a computer mall.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I need to buy an external DVD player/writer. I've located the store quoting the cheapest price. And I want to support it.
Later, inside the store, Peter pays for a slim gadget.
PETER (V.O.): I've never had one before. The laptop I bought immediately after retirement got an in-built DVD drive.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've got a new laptop without such an in-built drive. But I need to view documentary evidence on discs regularly.
Later, as he strolls along Hennessy Road, Peter feels something on his right ear.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What's that?
Peter picks up a broken temple tip of his eye glasses.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, it has come off now.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I bought this pair of eye-glasses on the first day of my retirement life...
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That was nearly 7 years ago now...

INT. SONY STORE - LATER
A STAFF is serving Peter.
PETER (V.O.): So, I just redeem 7000 bonus points and pay $1 for one small blue-tooth speaker?
STAFF: Yes.
At the cashier, Peter pays $2 for two speakers.
STAFF (Cont'd): We'll do the product registrations for you. For each speaker, you'll get 3000 bonus points, the equivalent of $150.
PETER (V.O.): That's a very generous way to reward loyal customers! I must write about it.
INT. STUDY - NIGHT
Peter takes a look of the colourful audio-visual gears surrounding him.
PETER (V.O.): Yes, when life gives me Monday and others, I've dipped it in glitter and let it sparkle all day and night!
Using glue, Peter re-fixes the temple tip to his eye-glasses.
FADE OUT.
