Over 1,000,000 Views

I have hesitated to write about the total number of views of my copyright photos posted at Google's Local Guides since July 2017. I recall in August 2017, I thought it was something when I found my photos attracted several thousand views. And then in September, 2017, over 100,000 views; and now on Single's Day 2017, over 1,000,000 views.

It was just an accidental pleasure project to tap into my original content capacity. Instead of hiding the travel photos that I captured and stored in my hard drives and keeping the related stories in my mind, I published them worldwide and tested the result. My goal has been to create and deliver value to viewers about going to right places at the right times and doing the right things.

Judging from the initial small data feedback: ie number of views, speed of responses and the likes, I could discern the kind of subject matters and visual illustrations that should be relevant, compelling and resonating to the public. I then refined my content-creation strategy to better meet and exceed viewers' expectations. My execution has been fast-paced, keeping up with my momentum, accelerating the number of views and enlarging the scale of impact.

Getting, keeping and growing viewers is never easy and quick, as I have tried in other contexts and platforms. It seems to me that Google's Local Guides platform has a larger viewer base than others so that for the same amount and quality of value that I created and delivered, I can get rapid measurable large-scale results. Since I have got traction in my pleasure project, I anticipate that I should be arriving at my second 1,000,000-view milestone before the year ends!
