We all dream during sleep - a period of intense neurological activity, triggering our memories, sensations and emotions. Our worries or fears in our waking life might result in nightmares which are healthily spent when we wake up. Dreams enable us to leave the past behind and move on.
"Dreams" in another sense refers to our cherished aspirations, ambitions or ideals. Such series of thoughts and images occurring in our minds while not sleeping. Only when we find out the objective reality of life would we know some of our "dreams" are subjectively misinterpreted illusion.
Having the right value and getting prepared do not mean that we can be in right places at all the right times. At any crossroads, we make conscious decisions and have to accept their consequences. Our chosen path, whether rough or smooth, is neither right nor wrong, as it is good to experience any dimension of life.
Daydreaming may help us sort through problems and achieve our goals. I daydream little dreams of this and that, and take timely actions to make them come true eg writing and composing. Although some of my sweet dreams are beyond my control and might not come true, I would still hold my head up high and move on!
