Politics are strategies and activities deployed to gain and hold power in governance. A drama is a theatrical performance using characters' dialogues and actions to tell a story. "Drama" in the political context documents the non-fictional challenges, twists and turns and resolutions.
Since May 2014, I have been travelling at least once a month. Not long ago, I gave up the idea of going to Korea as I believed international armed conflict was imminent. Then I began to follow closely the Hollywood-style twists and turns of the political drama about it shown on breaking news!
Since 1986, I have been engaging my Malaysian LLM classmate and his family, and learned a lot about Malaysia. The happening political drama about the collaboration between the "old and bright", and the "young and proud" excites and delights me. It is a new Asian genre!
To facilitate the passage of bills, I worked with politicians for decades. I was well-versed with the strategies and activities and they would not excite or delight me. Instead of telling untrue stories, I would tell real ones through my screenplays about myself, and those who have connected with me!
