The main door opens.

the elder girl member!

I must rush to greet

her.

Halfway to the door, Kaji slows her pace, stops and begins to pant with pig-like sounds.

KAJI(V.O.)(Cont'd)

What's happening to

me? Something irritates

me, but I can't sneeze it

out. Quite the reverse...

A moment.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)

There's a sudden attack

on my body. Am I having

a seizure? I can hardly

breathe!

The PACK LEADER, PETER and pack MEMBERS# 1 & 2 surround Kaji but don't know how to react.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont''d)

Their scary looks scare me!

I'm not going to die...let

me calm down...

A beat.

KAJI(V.O.) (Cont'd)

Okay... it's gone... Yes, it's

gone. I feel fine...

MEMBER#2

She had the same earlier

today.

Peter uses his phone to research.

PETER

As she pants, she might

have asthma. It can be

life-threatening.

PACK LEADER

Don't jump to conclusions.

Let's take her to see the

Vet tomorrow.

EXT. DOG GARDEN - DAY

Having played with her FRIEND#1 (Alaskan Malamute) and FRIEND#2 (Irish Terrier) for awhile, Kaji leaves with the pack leader and Peter.

INT.. VET CLINIC - DAY

NURSE#1 tries to play with Kaji who doesn't want to engage. Nurse#2 comes out from the consultation room.

It's your turn now.

KAJI (V.O.)

I haven't seen my Vet

for many months now.

Inside, NURSE#3 holds Kaji tight on a table.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)

Don't worry, I know

The pack leader and Peter speak to the VET (30s). The Vet then mimics Kaji's behaviour.

KAJI (V.O,) (Cont'd)

The Vet sounds like a

pig too!

VET

(To Pack leader & Peter)

The pack leader and Peter nod.

VET (Cont'd)

This's called reverse

sneezing, which is

pretty common in

dogs.

The Vet plays a Youtube video clip for the pack leader and Peter to see.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Yes, I sounded like that

too.

VET (Cont'd)

An X-ray won't reveal

anything. There's no

need for her to take

any medication.

The pack leader and Peter look relieved.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd) Judging from their facial

expression, I know I'm

alright!

PACK LEADER

Time is about ripe for

her to take a vaccination.

The Vet administers an injection out of Kaji's sight.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)

It seems that the Vet's

fingers can sting! As

the sting is mild, I

won't make a fuss.

Nurse#3 gives Kaji a treat.

KAJI(V.O.)(Cont'd)

What do you mean?

A consultation is not

a treat. Furthermore,

I don't like to eat out.

The pack leader pockets the unwanted treat.

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

Having settled down, the pack leader passes Kaji her unwanted treat.

KAJI (V.O.)

As we're at home and

its from you. I'll take it.

Finishing it, Kaji retires to her sofa, looking tired.

I don' t like the sting
