FADE IN:

EXT. MTR - DAY

Standing at the side of a queue, PETER sees an engaging male station STAFF holding a STOP sign. As female passengers look away from him, Peter notices something.

PETER (V.O.)

Oh, he hasn't zipped

close his trousers.

Peter raises his hand a little, getting the staff's attention. Then, he moves his hand near the zip area of his trousers. Immediately, the staff puts the STOP sign to cover the zip area of his trousers.

A beat.

Standing in the middle of a packed car, Peter checks his phone. He discovers something.

PETER (V.O.)

Oh, my former student

sent me messages on

Sunday. I've been very

busy since my Saturday

talk and performance

at HKUST...

Peter reads the screen messages.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Oh, he forwarded me

someone's feedback...

The host echoed my

message that if we do

good and could uplift

just a few young souls

we should be very

pleased.

Pausing.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Oh, he also added his

remarks - it was thru my

encouragement that he

studied overseas... and

his life has never been

the same!

Peter smiles. He types: "I'm proud that you were my student and did better than me. In knowledge transfer, we pass on something better to the next generation."

FLASHBACK

INT. CLASSROOM - NIGHT

Just a few STUDENTS. Peter (44) chats with them one by one.

PETER

(To Class)

I like students attending

evening classes. They

all have good qualities

as they have the urge to

learn.

PETER (V.O.)

My teaching goal is to

ignite imagination and

to inspire hope.

END FLASHBACK

PETER (V.O.) (Cpnt'd)

He was one among them.

Many years later, he got a

PhD from a distinguished

institution.

INT. CHAMBERS - NIGHT

Peter finishes chatting with a COLLEAGUE (50s).

PETER (V.O.)

He's right. As legal

professionals, we take

rights very seriously,

and distinguish the

right from the wrong

Pausing.

PETER (V.O.)

As a person, I'm more

concerned in taking good

seriously.

INT. SWIMMING POOL - NIGHT

50mx8. Roomy. Peter swims.

PETER (V.O.)

Work takes time away from

me. I've to add time and

do good to myself.

When Peter swims near the pool wall, he sees a BOY (12) jumping up and down in the water, yelling at the same time.

PETER (V.O.)

He might be autistic.

Under the water, Peter sees the boy lowering his swimming brief exposing his bottom.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)

As he is having fun, I won't

bother.

Peter swims normally away.

FADE OUT. The End
