FADE IN:
INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY
Thundering sounds from afar. Kaji sits steadfastly in a sofa corner. She looks out of the window and sees the cloudy sky.
KAJI (V.O.)
The loud noise comes from
the sky. I don't know what it
is.
Kaji pretends that she can't hear.
. KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Is the sky angry with me?
It's threatening for sure.
I'm home alone.
Some sounds at the door. Kaji sees PETER returning. Quickly, Peter sits right next to Kaji and begins to pet her.
PETER
You don't know about
thundering. Don't worry,
I'll keep you company.
KAJI (V.O.)
I love Peter touching
me.
Peter types a What'sApp message to a Group Chat: She hasn't wetted the sofa yet. Then Peter takes a photo of Kaji and adds a subtitle: It's thundering outside!. He sends it.
Ding. Having read the What'sApp message: Get her away from the sofa, Peter tries to act.
KAJI (V.O.)
(Confused)
No. I've decided that
here's my safe spot.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)
I don't have a crate to
hide, and in fact, I don't
like any confinement at
all.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)
You don't wrap me with
any clothing to make
me feel secure. Even if
you did it, I don't think
I'd feel secure, and you
know I wear nothing
except my fur.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
And your words can't
dampen the threatening
noise, not to mention
the strange electricity
and pressure being
around me.
Kaji's body language speaks them all.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)
. Peter, I'm not going
anywhere. I'm staying
put. Don't use any
force...
Some sounds at the door. They see their MAID returning. She first looks at Kaji.
MAID
(Smile a little)
Very frightened?
KAJI (V.O.)
I can't move at all, like
suffering from a panic
attack. Glad that you're
home too.
Using her might, the maid grabs Kaji to her room.
INT. MAID'S ROOM - DAY
Relaxing.
KAJI (V.O)
I tend to forget about
the loud noise when my
maid plays with me -
Yes, positive turnaround
from the negative.
INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY
Cloudy.
KAJI (V.O.)
I don't feel any strange
electricity and pressure
yet. I hear no loud noise
either. Hope today will
be a calm day.
Pondering.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
How can they calm my
seasonal phobia?
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
They may like to serve
me something that's
really exciting and
delightful so that I'd
refocus on the positive.
Kaji looks at the pack leader, Peter and the maid.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Do you all know about
me? And how to do the
positive turnaround?
Meal time. Kaji is served with her usual menu.
FADE OUT.
The End
