INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

Relaxing on a sofa with the PACK LEADER and PETER, KAJI sees them exchanging after watching on-and-off the noisy TV reports.

KAJI (V.O.)

I hear monotonous shouts

from the TV. Can't those

images stop shouting?

PACK LEADER

They're crazy.

PETER

They show their contempt

of court. Oh dear...

Kaji is observing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

I don't know what they

are talking about.

Kaji hears more shouting from the TV.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

I only bark once in a

while.There's no point

to bark all the time if

I know I'm not going to

get what I want. I'm not

crazy.

As the pack leader and Peter go to the dinning table, Kaji jumps up to the piano seat. The TV is showing images shouting.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

(Licking her nose)

Do they have tongues

longer than me?

Having taken a photo of Kaji, Peter checks it and smiles.

KAJI (V.O.)

Peter must like my

posture a lot.

The pack leader shares some cakes with Peter.

KAIJI (V.O.)

How about me?

PACK LEADER

Not suitable for you!

KAJI (V.O.)

Why?

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd)

I can taste things that

are bitter, salty, sweet

and sour. If they don't

taste good, I won't

take them. Give me a

try.

PACK LEADER

(Sternly)

No!

KAJI (V.O.)

I hear that. You're

always like that. I

won't repeat my

begging anymore.

Kaji sees Peter unwrapping a box of cakes.

PETER

I bought it at the Airport

before flying back from

Miyako.

Peter takes out one piece for himself and another piece for the pack leader, as Kaji looks on.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

How about me?

As she sees Peter splitting a bit and passing it to her. Kaji quickly uses her tongue to deliver it to her mouth, before the pack leader can stop it.

PETER

(Tasting the cake)

Nice!

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Yes, it's sweet!

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Although it's just a

small bit, I'm content

with what I've got.

There must be some

reasons that the

pack leader doesn't

want me to have

that much.

INT. SITTING ROOM

The pack leader, Peter and gang MEMBERS #1,#2 and #4 are at different spots, focusing on their phone screens.

Kaji sees the pack leader opening a laptop and soon the image of gang MEMBER#3 appears on the computer screen.

KAJI (V.O.)

I recognize his voice.

But I can't smell his

scent. He's unique.

The pack leader begins to chat with gang member#3 via the computer.

PACK LEADER

When you fly back

in due course, don't

wear black.

MEMBER#2

Don't wear any mask

too! I was sick today

and didn't wear one.

I don't get it. Anyhow,

it's good that I see

them all tonight. It's

so sweet!

Kaji puts her whole body onto the pack leader's body.
