FADE IN.
EXT. MTR STATION, KWUN TONG - DAY
PETER is walking up the stairs to the station.
PETER (V.O.)
So quiet....
Then he sees closed gates.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Oh, the damage was so
serious. I've to walk to
Lam Tin to take the
MTR to Sai Wan Ho.
INT. MTR STATION, SAI WAN HO - DAY
Peter sees some facilities including a stack of escalators are closed.
PETER
So unpleasant. All these
vandalism are totally
unnecessary, and can
be checked - yes, the
fish nibbling at every
bait will soon be caught.
EXT. ROAD - DAY
Peter comes out from a court building.
PETER (V.O.)
I knew there's a ferry
service from here. Let
me check if it's open
and if it'd take me to
Kwun Tong.
EXT. FERRY PIER, SAI WAN HO - DAY
Seeing over a dozen people in a small waiting area, Peter approaches a woman GATE KEEPER.
PETER
Is there a ferry to
Kwun Tong now?
GATE KEEPER
(Nodding)
Tap your Octopus
card on the reader.
Delighted, Peter taps his card and then passes through the gate. He looks around the fixtures and fittings.
PETER (V.O.)
It's so nostalgic.
EXT. FERRY - DAY
As he gets on board the ferry, Peter sees a sign on the side stating: Ferry of the 1980s.

END MONTAGE
PETER (V.O.)
It was my great decade,
investing in myself, and
building a family.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
But all these didn't
come easy. I sowed
the seeds in the 1970s
by studying hard so that
I might achieve my
targets in the 1980s.
Sitting here and there at the upper deck, Peter takes photos like a tourist. As the ferry is leaving the pier, some people resume their fishing by the pier.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
This's my first time taking
this ferry. I believe it is
more reliable than the MTR
service now.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Would the stop-and-go
riots put back Hong Kong
by 30 years? I'm taking
a 1980 ferry...
INT. STUDY - NIGHT
Working behind a computer, Peter notices some notifications on his phone screen. He taps the video clips icons and watches them.
PETER (V.O.)
Oh my god, some of
the young these days
don't have any idea to
get equipped for their
future. They just scream
and shout.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
They might find it fun
to harass their tolerant
teachers and principals.
They might even vandalize
inanimate objects to
show their evil ways.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd)
But they'll have to face
the consequences of
their own making. A
fish which nibbles at
every bait will soon be
caught!
Peter looks very serious.
FADE OUT. THE END
