FADE IN.

EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY

KAJI plays with her friends. The PACK LEADER chats with a WOMAN (30s). Sitting on a bench, PETER types his phone.

KAJI (V.O.)

(Looking at a small one)

A few new friends.

This one is short and

is bothering me.

Perhaps, we should

leave.

PACK LEADER

Let's go!

KAJI (V.O.)

Okay. I'm ready to go

home.

They leave. Kaji takes the lead.

PACK LEADER

This way.

KAJI(V.O.) (Cont'd)

(Surprised)

This way? Not the

direct route to go

home...I don't mind

hanging around by

the seaside though.

Let's go then!

On a leash, Kaji runs the pack leader. Peter is following from behind.

EXT. KWUN TONG FERRY PIER - DAY

A queue of over a dozen PEOPLE.

PACK LEADER

Stop! We queue here.

KAJI (V.O.)

Stop hear? Not our

habit. Are we going anywhere?

As an old ferry moors, the pack leader picks Kaji up and carry her. Peter escorts them getting on board the ferry.

EXT. FERRY - DAY

Upper deck. A few rows of wooden benches. They sit at a rear corner.

KAJI (V.O)

(Curiously)

Well, I've never been

on board a thing like

this. The seat isn't

soft. Is it a big car?

Staying put, Kaji looks around.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

There's a lot of water

on the ground. But it

hasn't been raining.

Strange...

Loud engine sounds.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

The car's engine

doesn't sound good.

The ferry is departing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

OMG! The waterly

ground is moving...

Oh, I'm actually at

sea!

Both the pack leader and Peter pet Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

That's reassuring...

The pier becomes farther and farther away from them.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

I love the breeze. So

refreshing!

The pack leader lets Kaji using her paws to support herself on a railing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Yes, I'll hold tight.

Kaji has a 180 degree sea view.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

This seafront view

on this moving thing

is excellent. We're

crossing the harbour!

The pack leader, Peter and two WOMEN PASSENGERS (20s) are busy taking photos of Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

I don't mind. I'm

having a great time!

As the ferry moors, the pack leader picks up Kaji and carry her to alight carefully.

EXT. SAI WAN HO PIER - NIGHT

As they enter the small pier area, Kaji continues to observe the ferry.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

This thing doesn't

have wheels, but it

moves alright.

Inside, about two dozens people are waiting. PASSENGERS use their Octopus cards to tap on the reader as a woman GATE KEEPER (60s) watches.

PETER

(To pack leader)

Our pet's fee is $5.

Just put the coin in

coin box.

Cling!

PACK LEADER

Done!

Passing the gate, the pack leader puts Kaji on the ground. Kaji does a wet-dog shake.

PETER

Great! She has had

her first ferry ride!

KAJI (V.O.)

Oh, this is my first

ferry ride!

As she walks, she gazes at the departing ferry on the side.

KAJI (V.O.)

It's a comfortable

ride. I'd love to do

it again!

PACK LEADER

We'll walk around

first.

KAJI (V.O.)

Sure.

In a distance, they see some moving objects.

PACK LEADER

Oh, there's a pet

party.

KAJI (V.O.)

Are they meant to

meet and greet me?

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Never mind, here I'm,

my new friends!

Kaji begins to join her new friends.
