EXT. ROADS - DAY

Sitting on the lap of the PACK LEADER in the middle row of a car, KAJI sniffs the air coming in from the window.

KAJI (V.O.)

Fresh! But the road

isn't that familiar to

me. Where're we

going?

EXT. ROADSIDE - DAY

On a leash, Kaji gets off the car with PETER.

KAJI (V.O.)

We've never parked

the car here before.

It's definitely not the

pet garden. Anyway,

I enjoy going out.

EXT. HOUSE - DAY

Green area.

KAJI (V.O.)

The grass here is

acceptable. Let me

leave my footprint.

Kaji obeys the calls of nature.

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

Crowded.

KAJI (V.O.)

What a big crowd

here! It appears

the people are

exchanging food

and some red

envelopes.

Finding her spot.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)

My vet remarked

that I'm a woman now.

Do I have to exchange

anything? And with

whom?

Enters KUMA (5), a tame shiba inu about 15 kg.

KAJI (V.O.)

(Surprised)

Who's that funny-looking

man? So fat and short!

Kuma and Kaji greet each other in their special but usual ways.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

He smells like Kuma

but he doesn't look

like Kuma. Let me

get closer to him to

check it out.

As Kaji gazes at him, Kuma appears to be unfriendly.

KAJI(V.O.) (Cont'd)

I recognize him. He's

Kuma. But I've got to

be careful with him.

He's now 50% stronger

than me and can harm

me.

Kuma then backs off.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

I know why Kuma

behaves rather

unfriendly. Men are

always afraid that

women will laugh at

them.

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

It's inevitable that I've

to judge him by his

look. It's hard to

appreciate the inner

significance of others.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Further, he doesn't want

to engage. I'm for love

but it doesn't have a

chance. I wouldn't

force him although I'm

a woman manly - he's

actually a womanly man.

EXT. ROAD - DAY

In the middle row of a car, Peter holds and comforts Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.)

Peter's holding me

tight. Who else do

I want, or want to

exchange?

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Nobody!

Kaji sleeps contentedly on Peter's lap.
