  3. INT. SITTING ROOM - 09:30


  4. PETER picks up car keys from a box.


  5. PETER (V.O.): I'm taking my Silvia 13 to a car-testing center.


  6. Pausing.


  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If it gets a clean bill, I'll store it in my NT home and drive another one back to the city.


  8. Peter looks out of the window.


  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The day looks fine. I should go swimming at Golden Beach too.


  10. Peter puts his swimming gear into a red bag.


  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): See if I can make today a fruitful day


  12. With keys in hand, Peter carries his bag and exits.


  13. Act 2


  14. INT. CAR TESTING CENTER - 10:00


  15. Waiting room. While consuming a soft drink, Peter reads a car magazine.


  16. PETER (V.O.): I used to buy car magazines, dreaming what cars to buy.


  17. Pausing.


  18. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I bought my Silvia 13 in 1989 to celebrate my promotion to Senior Crown Counsel in the Attorney General's Chambers. .


  19. Pausing.


  20. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And after 33 years, I'm still in love with my Silvia 13.


  21. Later, a MECHANIC passes Peter a certificate.


  22. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Great! Spending good money to maintain it, I've added another year to my Silvia's life!


  23. EXT. TUEN MUN HIGHWAY - 11.30


  24. Looking through the windshield of the road ahead, Peter is driving swiftly.


  25. PETER (V.O.): My Silvia 13 has reborn.


  26. EXT. GOLDEN BEACH - 12:00


  27. Checking a phone message, Peter also sees an image.


  28. PETER (V.O.): Oh, my gardener reports that some tiles of the gate pillar of my NT home have fallen off.


  29. Pausing.


  30. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They're over 20 years old and have stood the rain and sunshine. Anyway, I'm on my way home.

  31. Towing a safety cyber-green safety buoy, Peter swims to the outer limits of the swimming area.


  32. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can't direct the wind and waves, but I can adjust my pace and swimming style.


  33. Seeing Peter approaching his rescue rowboat, the lifeguard gives way.


  34. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I really appreciate his reaching out, and those in lifeguard towers at the shore.


  35. INT. LAKESIDE RESTAURANT - 13:45


  36. Watching lakeside activities, Peter eats seafood rice in soup and drinks a mango soda.


  37. PETER (V.O.): I need to re-energize myself after a non-stop 45-minute swim.


  38. INT. PETER'S NT HOME - 14:30


  39. Storeroom. Peter is searching.


  40. PETER (V.O.): Oh, I forgot I had used up all the cement last time. I want to refix the fallen tiles without delay.


  41. Thinking.


  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've just retuned from the mall. Should I drive there again? Or should I walk there? I haven't done that for decades.


  43. Peter sees six bicycles nearby.


  44. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They haven't been used for over 10 years. The tires are all flat. And one can't stand by itself.


  45. Pausing.


  46. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me take the most problematic one to the repairer at the mall to fix it.


  47. EXT. LAKESIDE WALK - 15:30


  48. Allowing a green cycle to stand by itself, Peter takes a photo of it.


  49. PETER (V.O.): I'm going to ride it home - my first cycling since I turn 68. Cycling was my passion when I was around 8-year old.


  50. EXT. PETER'S NT HOME - 17:00


  51. Gate pillar. Fallen and broken tiles on the ground. Wet cement in a plastic bag.


  52. PETER (V.O.): My masonry craft isn't good. Let me treat the job as a performing art.


  53. Using his bare hands, Peter performs his art.


  54. Act 3


  55. INT. SITTING ROOM - 23:00


  56. PETER (V.O.): Today, I've done lots of things worth doing.


  57. Thinking.


  58. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Be productive, I can make my life fruitful.


  59. Pausing.


  60. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Meanwhile, I get dividends from my investment in time.
