  2. Act 1


  3. INT. DINING ROOM - SUNDAY NIGHT (APRIL 18)


  4. PETER dines with his FAMILY.


  5. PETER: I still couldn't find the car key. I'll arrange to make a replacement one on Wednesday. I've work to do on Monday and Tuesday.


  6. EXT. MTR TRAIN - MONDAY AFTERNOON (APRIL 19)


  7. Peter looks restless.


  8. PETER (V.O.): I've lost my equilibrium, my car key and my pride. I've an urge to make the replacement car key earlier.


  9. Peter types on the phone and checks replies.


  10. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the earliest is Wednesday. That fits in with my plan.


  11. Peter looks relieved.


  12. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Looking forward to that. Meanwhile, I'll continue to ensure that I won't lose the remaining key.


  13. Act 2


  14. INT. OFFICE - TUESDAY AFTERNOON (APRIL 20)


  15. Peter wraps up a conference with a CLIENT.


  16. PETER (V.O.): I've earned more than enough for the cost of the replacement car key.


  17. EXT. ROADS - WEDNEDAY MORNING (APRIL 21)


  18. Peter's driving his WIFE in a deep blue saloon car.


  19. PETER (V.O.): Yes, the car is now holding the key. It's so easy to lose but so hard to find.


  20. Pausing.


  21. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Soon, I'll have a replacement one, and I needn't worry anymore.


  22. Later, having parked the car, Peter gets a phone message.


  23. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the locksmith I found over the web couldn't make it today...Tomorrow afternoon?


  24. Pausing.


  25. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I meant to go to Gold Coast to swim in the morning. But the locksmith holds the potential replacement car key.


  26. Pausing.


  27. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Okay, just wait for another day. I hope I wouldn't lose the car key meanwhile.


  28. Peter checks the car key he is holding.


  29. EXT. ESTATE ROAD - THURSAY AFTERNOON (APRlL 22)


  30. Inside his car, Peter waits. Later, the locksmith's car arrives.


  31. PETER (V.O.): At last for the one-stop service.


  32. Passing the car key to the LOCKSMITH, Peter observes how the locksmith does his work with help of hardware.


  33. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd) : I won't interrupt him. A job has to be done right.


  34. Peter continues to watch, checking the phone time. Meanwhile, an estate CARETAKER passes by.


  35. CARETAKER: Your car can only be parked here as long as you're here.


  36. PETER: The locksmith is making a replacement key for my car.


  37. Peter sees the locksmith is still checking his computer.


  38. PETER (V.O.): It's been over an hour now. It's seems that the locksmith is encountering a problem.


  39. The locksmith talks to Peter.


  40. LOCKSMITH: I need a special cable. I've to drive back to my workplace to get it. You wait here.


  41. PETER: Why?


  42. LOCKSMITTH: I've disassembled the car lock. The car can't be started up now.


  43. Peter sees car-lock parts at the driver seat.


  44. LOCKSMITH: I won't be back at least after an hour.


  45. Peter nods helplessly.

  46. PETER (V.O.): I don't mind to have lunch later. But the problem is that I can't even go to the loo.


  47. Waiting, Peter checks Quora notifications.


  48. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): No, I'm disinclined to entertain any answer request.


  49. Peter takes a deep breath.


  50. Act 3


  51. EXT. ESTATE ROAD - LATER


  52. Seeing the return of the locksmith's car, Peter looks relieved.


  53. PETER (V.O.): I hope he has a solution to the problem.


  54. The locksmith works diligently and seems making progress. Then, Peter is delighted to see and hear his car locking and unlocking.


  55. LOCKSMITH: To compensate for your waiting, I'm making two replacement keys for you.


  56. Peter sees that.


  57. PETER: Then, I give you an extra $500 on top of $1500.


  58. Peter pays for the car keys.


  59. PETER (V.O.): The locksmith has spent 4 hours for my order. It's a win-win.


  60. INT. RESTAURANT - LATER


  61. PETER (V.O.): It's after 5pm and I'm having my lunch. I'm not complaining.


  62. Pausing.


  63. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Without any worry, I've just swum happily at Gold Coast.


  64. FADE OUT.
