As the mechanic starts the car's engine, we only hear smooth engine sounds.
PETER: Great, no more strange noises.
MECHANIC: It was all because of the broken water pump.
PETER: I'm thrilled that the coupe is healthy and back in great shape!
Peter goes to Fatboy's counter to pay.

FLASHBACK
INT. EUROPEAN ASIAN AUTO SERVICES - DAY (Over 10 years ago)
Peter goes to the counter to pay Md AU.
PETER (V.O.): It's uncommon to find car repair shop run by a woman.
PETER: Would you offer me a discount?
MD AU: I don't think so, as I prefer not to reduce my employee's salary.
PETER (V.O.): That's a great perspective, and I like that.
Years later. Peter approaches the counter to pay RICKY, Md Au's son.
PETER (V.O.): He's in charge now. I haven't seen Md Au around in quite some time.
Later, when Peter inspects how his cars are being repaired, he asks Fatboy.
PETER: I haven't seen Md Au for quite a while...
FATBOY: Oh...she has already passed away.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, she died relatively young.
RETURN TO PRESENT
PETER: I haven't seen Ricky for a while...
FATBOY: Oh, he's been on a long vacation - as business here isn't good.
PETER (V.O.): Great! I've overthought!
PETER: The airconditioning of my New Beetle has to be fixed. Should I bring it here right away?
FATBOY: Yes!
