PETER is amending a draft on screen.
PETER (V.O.): Yesterday night, I thought my initial draft was good.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Upon re-reading, I can still refine my thesis.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Counsel on the other side has his antithesis.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Synthesizing ours, the judge will develop his own perspective.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Confined to the case evidence and law's application, we can't be creative.
INT. BEDROOM - 12:30
Peter is resting in bed.
PETER (V.O.): Having slept little last night and stressed myself early this morning, I'm tired.
Rolling over.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As I can't fall asleep now, let me have screen time then.
Grabbing one of his smart phones, Peter taps a video clip.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I like to know the perspectives of tourists on Hong Kong attractions.
We see Hong Kong scenes on screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG, this maker of the clip has even visited Po Toi Island and the southern tip of Hong Kong.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Touring UK, I've been to Land's End a few times.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Touring Japan, I've gone to its southern tip in Ishigaki.
Peter then checks some AI drawings on screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Recently, I like to check AI drawings. They're very well-drawn.
We see similar images on screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I learned to draw. Despite labour, I didn't pick up the skill. I had difficulty to judge how to convey my emotions and messages.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My younger son and younger daughter draw very well.
Peter checks other video clips.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I prefer taking snapshots, capturing moments in time and realistic moods, telling raw but true stories.
Seeing something, Peter looks excited.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is there a free AI drawing generator from Mainland China?
While attempting to download, Peter sees a warning: ...dangerous to download...but you can change your setting...
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've invested in the media platform supporting the AI drawing App.
Having downloaded the App, Peter sees a security report.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's no security issue after all.
Having given instructions in the "text-to-image" box, Peter selects a style before tapping "Create".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As styles are few, the look and feel of AI drawings are similar. See how long do I've to wait.
Seeing an AI drawing appearing in seconds, Peter looks pleased.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ha! My first AI drawing! I've made the necessary arrangements to make it happen.
Repeating and stopping.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Just the first two AI drawings were free.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me mine similar Apps elsewhere and compare them.
We see Peter surfing the web, giving instructions to create drawings tirelessly.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): For this one, I'd try the Cubism style...
Soon, seeing a cubism art appearing on screen, Peter is speechless.
Act 3
INT. STUDY - CONTINUOUS
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The subject I anticipate shouldn't look like that. But cubism art attacks on perspectives.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Through their works, cubism artists claim to express what is actually in us - we aren't that logical.
Staring at his AI-generated cubism art.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Understanding how parts may relate to each other, we should get a wise perspective on the art of life.
