INT. STUDY - DAY
Phone in hand, PETER is checking some Quoran requests.
PETER (V.O.): Can one do anything with just enthusiasm?
Peter begins to types on his phone.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Enthusiasm is an essential element. But without capacity and support, one can't do much.
Peter continues to type.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me give one example. If one wants to fly, one has to have wings or an air ticket.
Inserting a photo featuring a pigeon, Peter hits Post.
Peter checks another question.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Would a target become a lot easier to achieve once one starts working on it on a regular basis?
Peter types on his phone.
Act 2
INT. PETER'S NT HOME - NOON
Sitting room. Peter connects his phone with a bluetooth speaker. We hear music.
PETER (V.O.): Today is the first time I come back two days in a row.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yesterday, I brought back a bluetooth player and had music. I bought an electric glass kettle and had boiled water.
Kitchen. Peter boils water. He opens the fridge and checks its bottom cabinet.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now, I've ice.
Peter goes up to the study on 1/F.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): See if I can create a nice corner here today
Peter notes that the wallpapers around the corner have peeled off
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I need to re-glue them. But I don't have any glue.
Peter looks at the rolled-up wool rugs at the corner.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me expose them under the sunlight to have some UV radiation.
Peter carries them downstairs one by one.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I haven't done that for years.
Peter uncurls one rug on the green grass.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, it's the Aeroplane Chess board on a rug.
FLASHBACK
INT. BEDROOM - SATURDAY NIGHT (2004)
PETER (50), his WIFE and CHILDREN were playing the cross-and-circle board game on a rug. They all look very tired after awhile.
RETURN TO PRESENT
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We didn't even finish one game with it.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I was a kid, the aeroplane chess game was classic.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Incidentally, it looks pretty nice on the green grass.
Peter captures a photo of it.
EXT. HOUSEHOLD STORE - AFTERNOON
Coming out, Peter has a bottle of glue in his hand.
PETER (V.O.): Re-sticking peeling-off wallpaper is a lot of work. I've done that before years ago.
INT. PETER'S NT HOME - LATER
Standing on a chair with bare feet, Peter is re-gluing the peeling off wallpapers in an amateurish fashion. He has white glue in his hands, on his shirt and on the ground.
PETER (V.O.): It's pretty tiring too. I'm old now. I've to be careful as I'm home alone.
Peter rests for a while before resuming. Later, Peter finishes the whole bottle of glue.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd). Enough is enough...Oh, one foot starts cramping...
Act 3
INT. DINING ROOM - NIGHT
Peter joins his wife.
WIFE: You look dirty.
PETER: I was re-sticking wallpapers at the NT home. Yes, let me take a bath first.
INT. STUDY - LATER
Peter is reflecting.
PETER (V.O.): I've done the most difficult part. I'll carry on tomorrow.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What answer did I type his morning regarding consistency.
Peter checks his content on Quora.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I wrote: Seeing and feeling the difference, consistency changes one's mood, attitude and mind.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.): I've got an upvote. I didn't say it also changes one's body.
