  4. Chatting with Peter, his WIFE shows him an image of a gold bracelet.


  5. WIFE: This is our elder daughter's birthday gift from her boyfriend.


  6. PETER nods.


  7. WIFE (Cont'd): His father suggested a bracelet as it symbolised a relationship to someone.


  8. PETER: Oh, that's very thoughtful. Family is the people who love you no matter what.


  9. Pausing.


  10. PETER (Cont'd): Remind me the father's name: Mr IN...


  11. WIFE: 印富煥 in Hanja.


  12. PETER (Cont'd): I feel we're family.

  15. Waking up, Peter checks the time.


  16. PETER (V.O.): Oh, it's only sometime after 5.am.


  17. Peter tosses and turns in bed.


  18. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've been thinking about Mr IN 印富煥...

  20. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Cancer can neither suppress memories nor cripple love.

  22. PETER: Earnestly hope that he could wait for his elder son's return later today and younger son's return tomorrow.

  29. Peter's wife checks a phone message.


  30. WIFE: Oh, dear, he has passed away at around 3 pm, Korean time. That's 2 pm, Hong Kong time.


  31. PETER: Oh, dear...Send our condolences...


  32. WIFE: Our daughter will send our love.


  33. PETER: Oh, I didn't take any photo when we're doing Skype on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival.


  34. WIFE: We've captured the memory in our hearts. Anyway, I send you a photo of the family.


  35. Peter checks his What'sApp message and sees an image of a 4-member family.


  36. WIFE: The family photo was taken in March this year when his two sons returned to Korea.


  37. PETER: Yes, happy moments.


  38. WIFE: Have you noticed that they were dressed in matching outfits?


  39. PETER: Ah, yes! Warm and loving details!

  41. As Peter and his wife are walking their pet, they see a white crane flying past and staying on the top of a tree in front of them.

  43. PETER: Yes! The first time I've seen a white crane here.


  44. WIFE: Like the magical crane featured in Cantonese Kung-fu movies!


  45. PETER (V.O.): Has Mr IN been transformed into a feathered white crane?


  46. The next moment, the white crane has disappeared.


  47. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I love to believe that the late Mr IN's spirit has been carried into heaven.

  52. The TV is on. Neither Peter nor his wife is watching.

  55. YPETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Our extended family has become an integral part of our daily lives. The gold bracelet and matching outfits add details to our family stories.
