  1. Act 1

  2. FADE IN.

  3. INT. STUDY - DAY

  4. As he keeps a tabletop clean, PETER sees a harmonica box.

  5. PETER (V.O.): I couldn't open it last time.

  6. Peter tries to open it again but without success.

  7. INT SLEEPING ROOM - NIGHT

  8. Lying in bed, Peter is listening to a radio program All the Way with Ray. We hear easy-listening music and the DJ's comment: "...Fascination..."

  9. Peter looks excited.

  10. PETER (V.O.): There're many musical pieces that I like listening to but I don't even know the titles of them...Is it the overture of the film Around the World in 80 days?

  11. Pausing.

  12. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I recall I enjoyed the film and its soundtrack very much. I first watched it when I was a kid. My family was living in Central and my parents took me to movies as I didn't need a ticket.

  13. Pausing.

  14. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me check that out tomorrow morning.

  15. The radio is broadcasting Nat King Cole's version of Too Young, ending with "...we're not too young at all."

  16. Act 2

  17. INT - DINING ROOM - DAY

  18. Phone in hand, Peter is surfing the web while sharing breakfast with KAJI, his pet.

  19. PETER (V.O.): Oh, the film I watched was produced in 1956. Its budget was US$6 million and its box office was US$42 million. It's eye-opening to watch the scenes depicted in the film - my world was Central then.

  20. Peter taps Nat King Cole - Fascination on the phone screen and we hear sweet music and the song lyrics "...passing glance...brief romance...fascination turns to love."

  21. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The music was originally written by an Italian composer in 1904. Oh, yes, it sounds like the soundtrack of Around the World in 80 days.

  22. INT. STUDY - DAY

  23. iPad mini in hand, Peter taps a video clip icon Around the World and we hear easy- listening music. Peter then surfs the web on his iPhone.

  24. PETER (V.O.): But it's said that the song was written in 1956 by another composer and Nat King Cole recorded the vocal in 1957...

  25. Taping an icon, we hear the song Fascination, playing alongside Around the World. And Peter looks perplexed.

  26. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, they're strikingly similar, but not exactly the same. If there's anything wrong with my ears, Nat King Cole has Fascination and Around the World as his numbers.

  27. Pausing.

  28. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The ending of the vocal of Around the World is familiar to me as well. Where have I heard it?

  29. Peter tapes on an icon Nat King Cole - Too Young, and we hear the song.

  30. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Hymn, the ending melodies of Around the World and Too Young are the same. When was Too Young written?

  31. Peter surfs the web.

  32. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It was published in1951. Hymn...It's fascinating to discover all that when I wasn't born or was just a little kid.

  33. Pausing.

  34. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I know it's hard to be creative, and it's harder to be popular. And for humans, it's really money that makes the world go round.

  35. Act 3

  36. INT. STUDY - NIGHT

  37. Guitars, an amplifier, and a rhythm box by Peter's side.

  38. PETER (V.O.): I've been trying to write a few new tunes but they can't satisfy my own thresholds. As I've quite a number of unpublished songs, I had better refine and record them first until I get some creative inspirations.

  39. Peter takes a look at the now-opened harmonic box near the computer.

  40. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I had my first cheap musical instrument as a kid, I 'd only blow songs composed by others.

  41. Pausing.

  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But at least, I'm not too young anymore.

  43. FADE OUT.

  44. THE END.
